What was great?
Nice well spaced site with Statics as well. Lots of good hard standing pitches, Family area with line of site to Superb play park. Well appointed and cared after toilet block, Warm showers, clean and tidy. Fishing permit included as part of pitch on the local river, (stay within camp site boundary) short walk into Calendar itself which is a beautiful town.

Even better if....
Waste and water on super pitch was 15Ft away and we didn't have long enough hoses or drainage to reach. Services were for 4 pitches and expected on pitch services

What was great?
The peacefullness of the park is fantastic. Weather was windy and the rain was lashing but nothing seems to dull the sparkle this place has. Good if you like to fish as they have a little piece of riverbank you can fish at without buying a permit as its included in your fees. lovely walk into town and i would recommend the Italian in town its fantastic

the sun was out
