Hi , We have been full timing for about the last 12 years and enjoy every moment of the outdoor life. We worked as camp site wardens until 2010 when we took our Kontiki 660 on a Scottish tour spending winter in Northumberland at Bellingham where we looked after the club site while the owners went abroad for the winter. It was the coldest winter we had ever had while living aboard with temps falling to 20C below. Then in 2011 we came back to Devon and hung our wander lust in the cupboard. There is not a county in England and Scotland we have not lived in and we did the Americas, Europe including Spain and Italy, before the euro took hold. We now take up a seasonal pitch anywhere in Devon. We sold our Kontiki in 2013 and now have a twin axle Sterling 610. Our favourite place is a winter seasonal on the edge of Dartmoor. We often watch the Marines training and feed the wild life. We treated ourselves to a mark 7, 2 litre Golf, and have become recycled teenagers. We hire a large 4x4 twice a year to move the caravan to a new location, that way we don’t incur the cost of owning two vehicles. Bricks and mortar you ask?
