We love caravanning, we went on a rally to Spain last September, to a places called San Per Pescador, the site was called "Aquarius" almost a thousand miles each way, site (pitch)was very cramped, if i hadn;t had a motor mover on caravan, it would never have fitted onto pitch, nearest main town was Roses, very lovely place, with a good variety of shops etc, plus a very good market, which was approx a mile long, if it wasnt for good neighbours on site we would have turned round & gone home, so this was the first;1st & last time for us, we are going to Normandy this year. 2013 (this turned out to be another waste of time) We both love exploring bootsales & antique shops in the areas we visit, we also like sea fishing, our favourite site so far is a site Nr. Kingsbridge in South Devon, called Bolberry House Farm, we have been there several times now & always had a very peaceful & enjoyable time, this site is approx one mile from Hope Cove, which has a lovely beach & is very sheltered, last time we were there we enjoyed watching a small pod of harbour dolphins playin in the cove, we returned there this year (2013) a week after we came back from Normandy, we had 10 glorious days on this site & have booked at least a month for 2014 on it Went back for 3 weeks in June 2014, had another great time, despite a fbad mishap with our boat, went back again in September for a week, weather wasnt to bad, but last night, we were lucky enough to have packed our awning away as there was a terrific storm, so bad that a neighbours awning was awash & there were lansliips on the road leading to the site, was almost axle deep in mund, so had a devil of a job to clean car & caravan once we got home, hey but thats the joys off caravanning, have booked 2 weeks for this year 2015, for the south of France on a site called the Dauphin, has all the facilites on the pitch even its own shower & toilet, will let you all know when we get back in early July
