Been a keen caravanner since parents bought our Monza 12ct in 1981! Married with 2 kids. Returned to caravanning in 2009/10, after refusing to spend another wet, windy, cold night in our family tent. Thankfully the kids backed me up and some friends were selling their 2 berth Abbey Lincoln for £650, so we bought it. After discovering huge amounts of damp, and practically rebuilding the rear end, we redecorated/reupholstered it and took it away. That's when we discovered it was too small!! We sold it for £750 and bought our current van, an Avondale Dart 556/6 2004. This has now been modified to our spec, and we all love it. Other than caravanning, I'm a TA /SMSA in our village school. I've just resigned as a Guide Leader after 28 years in order to join our village Theatre group, where in one year I've been in one panto, one serious play and a review - love it!
