Write Something About Yourself. As someone who can remember black and white TV I'm not divulging my age! Lets just say that age is a state of mind. This makes me around 28 years old! We sold our caravan four years ago because our workload made it impossible for us to get away. As we already had a self catering holiday chalet we decided to put the vacant hardstanding to good use. We added electric hook up, water/disposal points and a pretty little private garden with patio furniture and let the space to those visiting the beautiful,undiscovered countryside on the Mid Wales borders. It has proved to be more popular than we thought and we have met many new friends in the camping community. The feed back was that the only thing missing was a shower/toilet block so last spring we added one. As we only have one pitch this means, in effect , that campers have their own personal power shower and loo! This year is rapidly becoming booked as we think our quirky single campsite provides a change from multi- faceless pitches. The personal touch obviously works and caravan/motorhome owners who have stayed here have been really helpful and given us great advice and reviews. THANKYOU! Ideal for those who want to explore the secrets of the Shropshire/Mid Wales borders. Castles, Iron age hill forts, walking, wildlife, mountains, white water , cycling and riding on the doorstep .As we offer only one pitch, we pride ourselves in being able to share our knowledge of the area and tailoring sightseeing suggestions to every individual. There is a bus service on the doorstep for those who don't want to have the hassle of taking their campers out. Oswestry and Welshpool are serviced by bus routes from here.
