 Tyn Yr Onnen
Set on a traditional working Welsh hill farm, this family run Caravan and Campsite lies on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park nestled in between the Moel Eilio and Mynydd Mawr (Elephant) Mountains in North Wales. This 180 acre sheep farm has been in the Griffith family for over 300 years. There are many animals on the farm including Shetland ponies, donkeys, lamas, pigs, chickens, ducks and turkeys. If you visit us in the spring, you can see some of our new born lambs. Tyn-yr-Onnen is the perfect spot for those who want to experience the outdoors, go off of the beaten track and enjoy breath taking scenery. The campsite offers sheltered pitches, with hook-ups if needed, recently refurbished toilet blocks with free hot showers, baby changing facilities, disabled shower rooms and a utility room. There is a play area for children and a television room with table tennis and a pool table. There is plenty of space for BBQs; we even allow camp fires in one of our camping fields; after all we think that camp fires are an essential part of camping.
