What was great?
Superb location with the (dog friendly) beach at Harlyn Bay a few minutes walk down a private safe track, with just one 30 yard'ish steep'ish incline at the end. Lots of other great beaches within walking distance or a short drive. Padstow just down the road. Newquay close in the other direction. Nice pool for young kids and a nice play area situated centrally by the clubhouse. Beachfield site great for touring/camping with large pitches with the bonus that you're even closer to the beach and have great views.

Even better if....
Overall cleanliness could be improved. There seemed to be lots of general rubbish lying around, sometimes for several days, but then it was windy so perhaps understandable to some extent (but not the same rubbish in the same spot for 2 or 3 days). Also the same plaster and hairclip remained in one of the showers for 3 days. Bins/rubbish areas or collection in Beachfield would probably help. An extra Elsan point in or nearer to Beachfield, I witness lots of caravanners/campers driving up through the site for this sole purpose which creates unnecessary traffic on the very narrow, tight, access roads. Main touring/camping area very cosy, in these days of large caravans and large tents the pitches just aren't big enough.
