What was great?
We had a very warm welcome by the warden when we arrived and we found the campsite to be very spacious with great facilities for children like the large play area, wildlife and nature trails. Pitches seem to be pretty well spaced and drained well after a long heavy down pour one night. Showers and toilets were clean and well maintained and all the water and waste points were also very good. Although the hot water in the showers was a bit sporadic ! The site seemed very secure and wardens were about most of the time and accessable. We loved visiting the town of Henley and explored the Thames area....lots of nice walks. A very relaxing stay and we are sure to return as there is lots in the area we have yet to explore.

Even better if....
Only slight moan would have been the sporadic hit water in the showers, otherwise perfect!

What was great?
Hurley Riverside Site offered a discount two days pass to Legoland and although it wasn't the closet site to Legoland we were very happy we decided to use it as our base. It is a very big site which is well laid out and the facilities were very good....shower blocks were clean and well maintained with lots of hot water. The place to wash pots and pans was very good. Children really enjoyed the site (and of course they loved Legoland!) as there was plenty of space to kick a ball around and have a run around. We stayed for just over a week and also enjoyed a trip to Windsor castle. Overall a great site to use as a base and we were made very welome.

What was great?
We stayed on this site in our caravan and found it to have very good facilities, warm welcoming staff and it was very central for all the things we wanted to do. We ejoyed visits to Windsor Castle and we used the tube from Uxbridge to get into central London for the usual sight seeing. We had a lovely day in Henly as well. A very pleasent site to stay on and we would happily go back.

Even better if....
Not really a dislike, but the site was very busy on the day with children, so if you want a very quiet time then maybe not the place for you. Only in the daytime though, the nights were very quiet. It didn't bother us at all as we were position in a quieter area Great site for families though.
