What was great?
First impressions when you arrive is not good but once you get on the site things look up immediately. The site is divided up into 5 or 6 smaller fields all of which are surrounded by trees or bushes and these fields have further tree partitions to allow some privacy if required. There are picnic benches scattered around for anyone to use. There is a path through the site that leads direct to the river where there is a good place to launch your boats or you can hire canoes for a day on the river. The site is right next to open fields with public walkways and the small town of Bungay is literally across the road.

Even better if....
The only thing that let the site down was a lack of facilities, ther are two toilet blocks for the whole site and they only had 2 showers in each, this would not be enough if the site was busy especially for campers.
