What was great?
Fantastic site, beautifully kept and very spacious, lots of play room, brilliant play area for the kids, seconds away from the beach, surrounded on three sides by the sea, two sides rocky, one side beautiful beach, with lovely, clear clean water. The site shop is very good sells basics, wifi is available. Games room for the kids, swimming pool (didn't use though £1.00 a day per person) Tennis courts (need to book). Chip van visits wednesdays and Saturdays, little bit pricey but very nice, made a nice easy couple of nights. Toilets, laundry, washup area use a key fob (£10 deposit in cash required). Gates also require key fob. Nearest shops are in Holyhead, big tescos, and everything you could possibly want. We only left the site once to do a weeks shop, we spent the rest of the time on the site or on the beach. The shop at the site next door is almost on the beach and that stocks all the other holiday stuff you might need, dinghies, footballs, icecreams, fridge magnets, local produce, camping and caravan essentials (pegs and all sorts of stuff) etc lovely owner, also very helpful. the kids had a whale of a time. Wardens/owners generally very helpful, extremely happy to offer advice and to chat. Overall a brilliant holiday, the site had everything you could want, good layout, plenty of space no hang ups about which way we pitched, other than in the bounds of common sense, so we could do awning to awning with our friends, which made it easier. Would recommend most definitely

Even better if....
Very windy but I dont think the site can help that. The rumble of the ferries can be a bit disconcerting int he dead of night (once you work out what it is its ok though). Bit annoying have one key fob with two boys, one husband and myself. If hubby went off in the car it made it hard for the remainder of us to go to the toilet, you had to hover outside the door and wait for someone to go in or out. Wifi a bit feeble and really not worth the money, phone signal for EE was a bit weak too. The one female warden was a bit snooty and offhand on ocassion. A bit expensive, we dont normally spend this kind of money on a touring site.
