What was great?
Brilliant site, nice and clean. Facilities are perfect. Pitch size was ideal and we did not feel cramped. We didn't spend much time in the camp as it is well placed for getting out and about. Being close to Eden Project and The Lost Gardens Of Heligan is a bonus these are a must see! absolute must see !. The site is also close enough to St Austell to make shopping easy.

Even better if....
The only minus point would be that it would have been useful to have been given more information about catching the bus to the places we wanted to visit.

What was great?
Just spent 10 days camping at Tregarton Park, had a brilliant time despite the wind and rain. The facilities are great and at £9 a night ( not during school holidays) it`s good value.. Head for the lower pitches if your tenting and winds are forecast ( opposite end of site to pool) as it is more sheltered. There is a lot to do and see locally. We went to Sams in Fowey and had the bouillabaisse and almost finished the portion as it was delicious!. The sites great and the area has a lot to offer.

Even better if....
The incline on some of the pitches could be improved. Its alright for vans but in a tent you do tend to slide down the airbed ! A car is needed most of the time.

What was great?
Everything on this site is great. Showers, Toilets, Shop, Pool, etc etc. It is without question in our opinion the best site in the UK we have visited.The pitches are all large and everything is immaculate. The Hicks Family are without doubt the most committed owners I've had the pleasure to meet, and seem to make improvement to the site a little bit each year. Within 2 miles you have Gorran which has a shop and the Barley Sheaf, a pub/restaurant which is really nice. Further on is Mevagissy with lots of little shops, cafes, and restaurants. Caerhays Beach is 1. 5 mls away, great for dogs.

What was great?
We had a great stay at this campsite. The pitches are a good size and level. The shower/toilet block was very clean never had to queue even though it was peak season. The pool and park were great and the children enjoyed themselves. The site is in the middle of the countryside but we found lots to see and do - Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey, Gorran Haven to suggest a few.. The shop on site provides the essentials and the main supermarkets are only a 25 minute drive away. The local beaches are great for young families and we would recommend this site and the local area to anyone.

What was great?
Again, another great seven night stay at Tregarton Park. We have previously used a tent, but returned with a caravan this time round.. Our welcome was warm and and we grabbed the offer of the free pitching and levelling service, and within minutes, our caravan was sited and levelled, excellant! The pitch was perfect, large, and even with a distant sea view. As always, the grounds and facilities were immaculate. Huge well done to all at Tregarton Park, we would not hesitate to recommend this park to anyone heading to Cornwall.

What was great?
Our first visit and attracted by low prices we booked for 18 nights! Not disappointed at all as we were welcomed by a very friendly owner who even offered to site our large caravan if needed. We declined as there was plenty of room to site the caravan ourselves but great to have that offered! We were late booking and as so were allocated a pitch at the bottom of the park, we had two days of heavy rain which made our grass pitch waterlogged. After speaking to the owner he moved us to the next available pitch and levelled it for us. Brilliant service. There is a Tennis court and children's play area(fenced and closed at dusk)at top end of park. At bottom of park there is a large dog walk area but the roads are quite steep. The toilets/showers/laundry are located in centre of park and are very clean and tidy. Overall very nice site would not hesitate to visit again especially in late season.

Even better if....
A car or bike would be advisable as there is not a lot within walking distance of the park however there is some public transport available. Caerhayes beach is a short drive away down narrow roads (lots of Pheasants on the road!) well worth a visit and has a small tea room and toilets in car park.

What was great?
I have been holidaying at Tregarton Park for some years now (prior to current owners) and witnessed many changes along the way (no swimming pool originally!) I must admit the current owners are very friendly and helpful & are happy to assist in any way they can - the play area for the children is great - we like to camp across from it as we can keep an eye on the kids without taking away their sense of freedom! We were a little dubious camping across from the park but it is locked up at night (@9pm) and the children soon disperse and silence is upon us! I recommend this campsite to all my friends and have actually come across a few people who have been and loved it themselves. Everything is clean, tidy and organised & we cant ever see ourselves camping anywhere else. Keep up the good work and see you in August!!

What was great?
Disabled facilities were absolutely spotless - and you need a radar key so don't get everyone using them! The place was easy to get round on a disabled buggy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The prices out of season are very good as well. Although you ideally need transport there are some beautiful places not very far away, and onsite facilities for kids are also excellent. Will definitely be back!
