if any wants a nice site along side the river Wye you should go to Lucksall caravan park near Holme Lacy , Hereford , you can ask for a pitch right by the river , they are not hogged by permanent tourers like a lot of sites , i have caught Barbel to 13lb and chub to 7lb , there are also the odd Carp , Salmon also run up river , you can hire canoes on site , pitches are large lots are hardstanding , its a real rural atmosphere , yet its only 15 mins into Hereford town centre ,

Sounds ideal for my husband he would love the fishing especially to be right next to the river! Will bear it in mind for when we go touring again, at the moment on a seasonal pitch near to home with fishing lakes, but hope to get a good towing car and this place will be on our list - thanks for the recommendation.
