Take your awning down the evening before you are leaving the camping site, especially if its been a dry day. On a lovely summer’s morning there is still often early morning damp. We found this damaged the awning fabric when we packed it away before it is thoroughly dry (an expensive mistake for us!!)and its so hard and inconvenient to lay the whole awning out to dry when you get home.

We have just got back today and I took mine down yesterday afternoon. Through the night it teamed down and would have been wet when put away today.
Check the weather forecast and then plan to take down if necessary.
