Talking about Dark sky Camping Slimbridge in Gloucestershire is brilliant for seeing a lot o Stars. Also a nice Campsite Tudor Caravan Park, next to Slimbridge Wild Fowl Trust and the Canal.Took our Motor home there.A remote place but next door to a lovely Pub which sells Good Food,Also a Cafe /Shop by the Canal. Excellent for Bike riding along by the Canal or Walking.Very Peacefull. Has a New Toilet block.

Thanks, Marilyn, this sounds like a good spot for a weekend touring break. We are in Devon, so not too far and we have always meant to visit the Slimbridge Wild Fowl Centre for a day out. Always glad to pitch up next to a good pub too :)
