Achmelvich Beach

Set amongst some of the wildest and most remote scenery in the UK, the Assynt coastline in the far north west of Scotland offers fabulous sea swimming in azure waters over soft white sand. Achmelvich beach is a great favourite and here you will find details of the Achmelvich camping available, placing you nearby the coves of white sand, famous for wild swimming.

When you head to Achmelvich Beach take everything you will need with you – this is a beach as nature intended with nothing but the sea, the sand and the sky to absorb you. It’s a romantic spot encouraging the casting off of inhibitions - if you want to skinny dip away from the handful of holiday makers using the beach, walk along the coast for twenty minutes to the natural harbour of Port Alltan na Bradhan.
