Just west of the famous River Trent on the peaceful Isle of Axholme is 7 Lakes Country Park. Set in a quiet rural area, yet so easy to get to as we are only 2 miles from Junction 2 of the M180. 7 Lakes Country Park is ideally situated to explore the surrounding villages steeped in history.

7 Lakes Country Park stretches over 120 acres of leafy native woodland, crystal clear water lakes and green fields. The central feature to the picturesque Park is the magnificent 40 acre Clearwater Lake.

Owners on this exclusive country park can take advantage of a fantastic range of activities. The fishing here is already famous, add to that jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing, bird watching, cycling and walking and we think you get the idea. The Park

Change your lifestyle forever and enter the world of 7 Lakes Country Park. Standing at the Lakeside Bar and Restaurant, imagine yourself enjoying a relaxing drink on the sun terrace and if you look west you will see the fabulous sunsets over the lake. Walking from the bar, to your left is the Bar 7 club and function suite. Here you can be entertained by live acts, discos, karaoke and dancing. Opposite are the Lodge motel rooms for overnight stays overlooking the Clearwater Lake. As you go past the reception office, turn right and you arrive at Lakeview, the first holiday home development at 7 Lakes. The Lakeview bases have a fabulous view over Clearwater, our main water sports and fishing lake. These exclusive bases have private fishing pegs and Jet Ski moorings.

On Clearwater you can go windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and fishing in the mornings and evenings while Jet Skis use the lake in the afternoon. This gives our owners plenty of peace and quiet in the evening or early morning. Fishermen will catch: Carp to 32lb, monster Pike to 28lb. Other coarse fish include Tench, Rudd, Eels, Perch and Roach. The Lake depths vary between 6ft and 38ft giving the fish plenty of places to hide. Fishing pegs are available around the east shore of the lake.

As you walk down Lakeview lane you stroll under mature towering trees arriving at the latest improvements to 7 Lakes Country Park - The Willows development. New bases are available right now but hurry as they are sure to be snapped up very quickly. Opposite the Willows is Fir Trees, looking over the Fir Trees Pond. From there, heading west you come to our premier Riverside Development on the shores of Riverside Lake. This is a truly stunning location with large west facing verandas for enjoying the warm summer evenings.

Riverside is for people who want to relax in peace and tranquility surrounded by natural woodland and wildlife. Caravan owners on this development have the enviable position of facing west for those evening sunsets and prime frontage locations with private fishing pegs. From a large pool, the lake narrows to a wide channel before joining back to Clearwater. This is a truly stunning location within the park and owners have described it as “heaven”.

The coarse and match angler will fall in love with Riverside and catch Carp, Pike, Eels, Tench, Rudd, Perch and Roach. In February 2005, December 2007 and March 2009 the lake was stocked with thousands of Mirror and Common Carp between 8" and 10". The lake is 6ft to 8ft in depth and anglers have enjoyed catches up to 100lb in a session. Fishing pegs are available around west shore of the lake.

Off the beaten track behind the Riverside lake you can find Everglades Carp Lake. For serious carp anglers the pegs and stalking areas around this lake have to be seen to be appreciated. The Everglades Carp record is 32lb 10oz. The Lake is set within mature woodlands, and has 11 islands and a number of sunken bars, roughly 6ft to 12ft in depth. With footpaths cutting through the wonderful natural foliage where wildlife is in abundance 7 Lakes Country Park can only be described as a nature lovers heaven!

Lakeside Bar and Restaurant

If you want to spend time having a relaxing drink and good quality bar food at the right price then come and try our Lakeside Bar and Restaurant.

With a restaurant conservatory overlooking the 40 acre Clearwater Lake the views while you eat are spectacular. If you fancy eating or having a drink outside then you can sit out on our Lakeside Sun Terrace and soak up a few rays.

Bar 7 - Clubhouse and Function Suite

Our 200 seat clubhouse Bar 7 is the place to come for evening entertainment at 7 Lakes. With a well stocked bar, comfy table seating and dance floor, everyone can have a great evening out.

Bar 7 can also be booked for your private function. We can cater for christenings, birthdays, weddings - any special occasion can be made extra special at Bar 7.

Fishing

The Fishing At 7 Lakes Country Park can only be described as outstanding. The gin clear waters of in the main fishing lakes of Clearwater, The Everglades, Pumphouse, Fir Tree and Little Lake hold many species of fish for you to enjoy catching. Carp, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Ide, Pike and even Catfish are present.
We are constantly monitoring the waters to ensure the fish are fit and healthy. Fishing Stations are in place to dip nets and familiarise anglers with the rules. Designated bins are provided for waste bait and line. Pegs are being constantly improved to ensure your fishing experience is a pleasant one.
Although fish stocks are introduced from time to time we feel it is better to make sure the fish breed and increase in numbers naturally making angling for wild fish the norm rather than the ‘a fish a cast’ syndrome that has become so popular over the last few years.
This is not a day ticket fishery where the fish are pressured and are subject to large amounts of non-natural food being introduced. They live in natural surroundings and thrive on the ecological balance the park is lucky to enjoy. Our fishing rules reflect this.
We are dedicated to looking after the 7 Lakes Country Park wildlife and fishing to ensure this unique facility stays the way we want it........natural as nature intended.
It is, we feel, of the greatest importance to maintain the natural ecological balance within the park and provide the the wildlife and fish the chance to flourish.
The choice of fishing at 7 Lakes Country Park is vast. The Clearwater lake is over 40 acres and holds many freshwater species including Carp to 38lb and Pike to 28lb. Jet Skis at 7 Lakes

Here at 7 Lakes we have some fantastic jet ski opportunities. We can offer you a lakeside location complete with wooden veranda, waterside jet ski access and a luxury holiday home! Imagine your very own holiday home in the country complete with all you need to enjoy your jet ski. Come down and see the great facilities that 7 Lakes has to offer jet skiers. Just off Junction 2 of the M180 we are easy to get to and you can spend your valuable free time on your jet ski and not in a traffic jam.

The jet ski lake at 7 Lakes Country Park is the magnificent Clearwater Lake. Spring fed and stretching over 40 acres it is the ideal playground for water sports enthusiasts. Early in the morning and late in the evening the lake is available for non powered water sports such as windsurfing and sailing. But during the day it is exclusively used for jet skis. So if you fancy being able to step out from the veranda of your new luxury holiday home and straight onto your jet ski then 7 Lakes is the place for you.
As a holiday home owner you can become a member of the 7 Lakes Jet Ski Club. All jet ski pilots must hold the RYA certificate of competence. But that’s no problem as our lake is an RYA Training Centre for jet skiers. We have our own jet ski instructors who are dedicated to 7 Lakes and makes sure that everyone can enjoy the water sports whilst riding safely.
7 Lakes Country Park has a unique course laid out on the Clearwater Lake for jet skiers. Designed with professional help it aims to encourage jet skiers to challenge themselves. There are special areas for you to practice your speed, slalom and tricks. Improve your riding skills at one of our time trial events or just kick back and relax on a ringo being towed round our lake. 7 Lakes Country Park is located just off Junction 2 of the M180 Motorway giving easy access from all directions via the M18, M62, A1 and M1. When leaving the M180 take the A161 towards Goole.
Travel 1 mile to a large roundabout continue on the A161 towards Goole over a canal and railway bridge and 7 Lakes Country Park is immediately on the left.
