Welcome to Bourn Golf and Leisure

We now only accept families and couples looking for a quiet site.

We are a Camping & Caravan certified site. This is a Certificated Site (CS). A small campsite. Some of these CS’s accept tents, space permitting. CSs are often quieter, smaller places to camp, with many offering minimal facilities – ideal for when you want to get away from it all.

Having said that we do offer more facilities than most Certified sites.

3 years ago it was just an area of grass where you could pitch your tent or set your caravan on. Since then we have added electrics and a small toilet block. There are now also two fields. The first offers eletrical hook-ups and hard standing. There is a natural pond where ducks and moorhens can be seen. The second is a very large field with a flat area at the top to set up your base The rest slopes away gently, giving ample space for ball games etc. We have another large field behind this if you need even more space.

Set in an unspoilt location in the Cambridgeshire countryside and located only 8 miles from the historic University city of Cambridge and with easy access from the M11 or A14, there is an abundance of things to do near the site or local area. If you are here just to relax and unwind, there are numerous walks to choose from with some starting straight from the site and others a short distance away.

For total relaxation and pampering, why not try out our Beauty & Well-being Spa with its many treatments.

For the more adventurous: On-site there is an 18-Hole Par 72 Golf Course, 9-Hole Pitch and Putt Course, Health & Fitness Centre including Indoor Pool (childen are only able to use the pool in the splash sessions Saturday and Sunday, please call for more details), Steam Room and Sauna and an Aerobics Studio with a wide variety of classes to choose from.

Take a break in the day and join us in the Clubhouse, where you can sink into one of the sofas for a coffee and cake. Or why not have a bite of lunch in the conservatory, on the patio or balcony overlooking the course and lake. During the summer months the restaurant is open in the evenings Wednesdays and Fridays.

Bar & Clubhouse
Open from 7.30am for hot and cold drinks and chocolates from vending machines. The bar and kitchen is staffed from 10am. Children are not allowed in the bar, but are welcome in the conservatory and restaurant and the attractive patio and balcony area that over look the course. There is a dress code in the clubhouse, no vests or sleeveless tops, no hats and no tracksuits.

Food served 7 days a week from 10am - 3.30pm, with a wide selection of food from our menu and specials board

Evening meals from April - October, Wednesday & Friday evenings. Booking advisable. For evening meals at other times the Willow Tree in Bourn is a good popular choice, but you will need to book. The owners Shaina and Craig are members of the club, so you may even see them the next day.

Dogs Welcome
By prior arrangement. It is the owners responsibility to clean up after your dog. We have a large separate dog-walking field adjacent to the camp site and a walk starts at the back of the campsite talking you all the way to Longstowe

Health & Fitness Club
Monday - Friday 6.30am - 9.30pm. Weekends 7.30am – 7.30pm £5.00 Single Swim. Adults are welcome to use the pool at anytime. We would ask you to respect the rules of the club by removing shoes before entering the changing rooms and by using a towel in the sauna.

As it is primarily a swimming pool, Children are limited to using the pool at Splash Hour (times stated below). During Splash Hour floats and toys are provided for the children to play with.

Children's Splash: £3.80 Saturdays and Sundays 2pm - 3pm. booking is recommended.

Aerobics Studio
With a choice of more than 20 classes a week. Classes must be booked in advance, £5 per class.

Golf Courses
9 Hole family pitch and putt, free on-loan clubs are available

18 hole championship course, that has been host to many local and regional events and finals, including the County Championships

Driving Range
Balls are collected from the shop and if you do not have your own clubs with you, they had free on loan ones you arable to use.

Well-Being Beauty Salon
There is a large array of treatments and massages available and with a relaxation room and direct access to the pool, sauna and steam room it is easy to loose track of time. Advanced booking advisable, but there may be the odd gap.
