Welcome to Broadhembury Caravan & Camping Park

For Family Camping where excellent amenities and play facilities are provided with babies and children in mind, or quiet meadows for adults who can enjoy the calm of bird song and a pleasure of watching a splendid sunset.
Touring, Holiday Caravan hire…Or imagine... your own self contained, centrally heated Holiday Home in the beautiful Kentish countryside. When camping England, you must visit Kent. Kent has more castles and gardens for you to visit than anywhere else in the country.
Broadhembury is open all year. Centrally heated toilets and showers, including en-suite facilities with wheel chair access make this the perfect park for all seasons, in an ideal location where you'll find plenty to do what ever the weather.

Winter at Broadhembury

You may be lucky and enjoy some lovely winter sunshine. Even if not, entertaining your family will not be a problem regardless of the weather. Why not enjoy a family game of skittles, air-hockey, pool or table football in our games room?

Hot showers and full central heating in our facilities will keep you warm and cosy after an active day.

Whether you prefer a brisk winter stroll through frosted farmland or a spot of retail therapy, we have something for everyone nearby!
Our friendly reception staff will be more than happy to help you plan your break - give them a call to discuss any aspect of your stay.

Camping Park

Tent Pitch

Available with or without a 16amp electricity supply. If using electricity, a 16amp blue plug and 15m of cable is required.
A tent pitch is suitable for a tent, maximum 8m x 8m. All are on a grass position and are available with or without electricity.
These pitches are only available on the main park area.
For larger tents a Maxi pitch will be required. All Maxi pitches include electricity.

Electric Pitches
One of only 2 “Best of British” Kent caravan parks

Perimeter pitches, at least 9 x 10 meters, with 16 amps of electricity. A blue 16amp international electricity plug is required with at least 10 metres of cable. Both hard standing and grass pitches are available.
Camping in Kent

Come with your children and pitch on our family camping park, convenient for all park amenities.

Maxi Pitches

For large tents, caravans or motorhomes over 8 metres in any direction (including guy ropes)

If you would like to visit us with your large unit, you will need one of our Maxi pitches. Please choose a pitch to suit the size of your unit so as not to inconvenience other campers and to ensure a safe distance between units.
Maxi 1 pitch - For unit maximum size 11m x 10m
Maxi 2 pitch - For unit maximum size 12m x 10m
Maxi 3 pitch - For unit maximum size 14m x 10m

Fully Serviced Pitch
One of only 2 “Best of British” Kent caravan parks.

Our fully serviced positions are individual areas, 12m x 12m (39ft x 39ft), with a gravel hard standing of 8m x 5m (26ft x 16ft).
They include:
Parking for vehicles alongside your caravan
Individual 16amp Electricity Supply using a standard blue round plug
Fresh water with standard 'hoselock' connector
2 x 32mm waste water away connections
1 x 70mm hopper pipe sewerage connection

Adults Area - The Meadows

People holidaying without children, are allocated pitches on The Meadows. This lovely, tranquil meadow area offers a relaxing, quiet pitch away from the bustle and excitement of family holidays.
Some positions are fully serviced hard standing pitches, please let us know at the time of booking if you would like a serviced pitch.
Couples may like a pitch on our “Top Meadows”. These meadows are the most tranquil and peaceful area on the park. Surrounded by arable fields and beautiful trees, in the evenings you may be rewarded by seeing varied wildlife from rabbits, an occasional hare, badgers and too many different types of bird to mention. If you come during May, you may hear the nightingales singing. Lighting is kept to a minimum, and starlit nights are something special to see. Sunsets over 'The Meadows' are very special.

Holiday Caravans for Hire

Super Caravan Holidays in Kent

Spaciousness and comfort are the keynotes of our fully self contained Holiday Caravans.
The interior layouts are warm and welcoming and are designed to be homely but convenient for both couples and larger families. Everything is ready for you, fully equipped Holiday Caravans, with bed linen supplied, and beds made up ready for your arrival.
There are two models available, both with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a comfortable double bed conversion in the lounge area.
All of our models are the latest design in Holiday Caravans, offering full central heating, double glazed windows, vaulted ceilings etc. They provide the extra concepts that make them comfortable and convenient, providing everything that is needed for a really happy holiday.

First Class Facilities from a Best of British Campsite

As you would expect from a Best of British Campsite, we have a number of facilities available to make your stay with us extra comfortable.

Showers

Warm, spacious toilets and showers on both the Family Park and Adults area. Both are equipped with full under floor central heating. Masses of hot and softened water is constantly available for our guests.
Family Bathroom

We have a luxury family bathroom available for families with children aged 6 and under. Returnable deposit required for key.
Private wash cubicles

Enjoy the convenience of our private cubicles, with toilet, hand basin, dryers etc.

Babies’ room

With bath, feeding & changing facilities etc.
Fully accessible facilities

We have en-suite toilet & shower facilities available for people with any degree of immobility, including wheelchair use. Please see our Access Statement for details. Also all facilities in "The Hollies" and "The Beeches" are designed to make access safe and convenient, with no steps and only gentle slopes where necessary.

Campers Kitchen

This spacious kitchen has many facilities including a refrigerator, chest freezer, two microwave ovens and a number of deep sinks. Here we provide everything you need to store, prepare and cook your food,
and picking some herbs from our Herb garden will add that extra bit of flavour to your cooking.
Laundry room

Washing & drying machines including extra drying facilities – most useful for walkers, cyclists, fishermen, golfers – in fact anyone enjoying the many outdoor pursuits available at or around Broadhembury.

Park Security

For your peace of mind we have a comprehensive security system installed on the park, including controlled vehicular access and C.C.T.V.

Broadhembury is a family holiday park, and has excellent facilities for youngsters of all ages. Our children's play area is cleverly situated away from park roads and accommodation, so parents can relax knowing their children can play safely without disturbing others.
Games Room

Visitors of all ages will have a great deal of fun in the games room. With table football, pool Ping-Pong table and skittle alley, the games room is the venue for exciting family tournaments. After a hard day playing, children and adults alike are welcome to come and relax in our TV room and catch up on the latest Eastenders!

Sports Field

Outdoor activities include the sports field with 5 aside football, or bring your own volleyball and cricket, there’s plenty of room. We ask all visitors to play all ball games on the sports field and not amongst the tents or caravan positions.
Playgrounds

With swings, and climbing frames and even a helicopter for hours of amusement, fresh air, and no money involved! We have recently invested in a ‘Jumbolander’ multi play centre with slides, climbing walls and towers.
There is also a special playground for under 7's. this has small a scale climbing frames, swings, car and a Wendy house.

WiFi Internet

With our new WiFi internet access systems you can connect to the internet when you are anywhere within our park using radio frequencies instead of a physical wire.
Keep in touch, share your holiday experiences with your friends & relatives through messaging and email. Tell them all about your camping in Kent. Wireless coverage is available anywhere on Park and even in the comfort of your Holiday Caravan (subject to weather).

Continuously Improving for our Valued Guests

Over the past 41 years we have had a continuous policy of improvement and re-investment to ensure Broadhembury remains one of the best campsites in Kent. We believe in providing caravan and camping holidays of the highest standard to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
We know our visitor base well and realise that bingo, bars or amusement arcades would not be appreciated at Broadhembury. However, venues including swimming and leisure pools, 10 pin bowling, multi screen cinema, night clubs and bingo are all within easy reach.

Dog Friendly Campsite

Camping with your dog can be a very rewarding experience, and here at Broadhembury we offer a wide range of activities that you and your dog can enjoy.
We welcome all sociable breeds of dog, up to 2 per tent or caravan and provide a dog exercise area and full details of interesting walks around the local area suitable to take your dog. When on the park, all dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times to avoid disturbing others.

Dog Boarding

Need to board your dog locally while you are staying at Broadhembury? Dog owners often find they want to spend a day in France, out visiting a place where dogs are not welcome, or just a day’s shopping. Whatever the reason, you will find the Haven an excellent Kennels in which to board your dog, whether for a day or longer.

If using a satellite-navigation system enter either our postcode (TN26 1NQ) and follow the brown signposts for caravan park or enter our grid reference (51.06.39N 00.52.06E).
Do not let it persuade you to leave the M20 at junction 9 as this is a much longer route.
Driving Directions

From Junction 10 of the M20, take the A2070 for approximatly 2 miles
Turn left at the second roundabout following signs for Kingsnorth (park signposted from here on)
Turn left again at the second crossroads in the village, into 'Steeds Lane'
You will see Broadhembury clearly signposted after approximatly 1 mile
