What was great?
Centrally situated to see surrounding towns and visitor attractions with access to the canal tow path. The campsite was kept in good order and quiet just how we like it although it was in September and not full. We only saw the staff when we first arrived for 5 minutes when we were escorted to our pitch.

Even better if....
The only downside to this site was the twice daily farmyard smells wafting from the farm over the road, good job it wasn't scorching and were able to close all the windows and door. You would need to make your own mind up on this one, good job we are not all the same!

What was great?
if your looking for peace & quiet then look no further, good clean showers washing up facilities although your dogs must remain on their leads around the camp site the owners do openly suggest the use of the top field to let your dogs of the lead & run around. overall the noisiest thing on the campsite is the wood pigeons in the trees :)

Even better if....
the canal is simply out of a key coded gate onto the towpath to enjoy mile after mile of relaxing walks
