Welcome to Cheverton Copse Holiday Park

Cheverton Copse Holiday Park is family run Isle of Wight caravan park located between the sandy beaches of Sandown & Shanklin, an ideal choice for your holiday on the Isle of Wight.

The Isle of Wight is the perfect place for your holiday or a relaxing short break. It is a stunning island boasting unspoilt scenery and a wealth of fascinating attractions. At Cheverton Copse our aim is to provide an unspoilt countryside atmosphere where our guests can enjoy a relaxed holiday and for our efforts, we are proud to have achieved a 4 star holiday park rating and the David Bellamy Gold award for conservation. There are 57 caravans with a variety of grades and prices to suit all budgets. All come fully equiped with 8 channel colour TV, fridge, gas cooker, microwave, shower, basin and WC. Duvets and linen are provided and beds are made up for your arrival.

Facilities

We have a range of facilities available on the park for our guests.

Family Friendly environment.
Cheverton Copse is ideal for families as cars are not permitted on the park so children can play safely. We have a separate car park and trolleys are available for the movement of luggage from your car to your caravan. There are three children's play areas with play equipment installed over rubber and woodchip safety surfaces, where children can play with their many new friends. We are located in a peaceful countryside setting with access to the Islands extensive cycle and walking routes directly from the park entrance.

Club House with Sun Terrace & Games Room.
The Clubhouse is open in the evenings during Easter, Whitsun and the Summer Holidays. There is entertainment 7 nights a week during Whitsun and the summer holidays which includes a nightly kids club. You can also enjoy karaoke, bingo, quiz nights, live music, a greyhound race night and more! Our games room is adjoined to the clubhouse and has two pool tables, video games and gaming machines and is open daily from 9am.

Launderette.
We have a small launderette on site with three washing machines, two tumble dryers and a free ironing facility.

WiFi access.
Our Wifi service is available to all our guests. An access code is required and can be obtained from reception during opening hours and from the bar in peak season.

Special Needs.
Please note that some areas of the park may not be suitable for guests with mobility problems as there are slopes and gradients to some of the caravans. Please tell us about any mobility issues or special requests at the time of booking and we will be able to assist you.

A modern good quality 3 bedroom caravan. This accommodation hasa double and two twin bedrooms. The accommodation has a shower room with hand basin and a separate toilet. Smoking strictly prohibited.

Arundel 2
Sleeps 4, 35 x 12 foot
The Arundel is a spacious holiday home you will feel at home in, from the moment you step through the door. It has a spacious double and twin bedroom with a modern open plan lounge and dining area. The kitchen comes with microwave, gas cooker with hob and an under counter fridge. The Arundel has double glazing, full central heating and comes with a 21" TV with built in DVD player. There is a modern shower room with hand basin and a separate toilet. Smoking strictly prohibited.

Wessex
Sleeps 4, 12 x 12 foot
The Wessex is a new spacious holiday home ideal for small families or couples. It has a double and twin bedroom and is tastefully furnished and colour co-ordinated throughout. There is a modern and spacious lounge/dining area and kitchen with microwave, gas cooker with hob and under counter fridge. There is panel heating to each room with agas fire in the lounge. Sussex 12
Sleeps 4, 28 x 12 foot
The Sussex 12 is an excellent and popular caravan as it is 2 foot wider than some of our other silver graded accommodation. This extra space is noticeable in the lounge and double bedroom. This caravan hasa double and twin bedroom. There is also a comfortable lounge/dining area and kitchen with microwave, gas cooker with hob and under counter fridge. There is panel heating to each room with an electric fire in the lounge. The accommodation has a shower room with hand basin and toilet. Smoking strictly prohibited.

Arundel 3
Sleeps 6, 35 x 12 foot
The Arundel is a modern holiday home you will feel at home in, from the moment you step through the door. It has a double and two twin bedrooms with a modern open plan lounge and dining area. The kitchen comes with microwave, gas cooker with hob and an under counter fridge. The Arundel has double glazing, full central heating and comes with a 21" TV with built in DVD player. Chichester
Sleeps 6, 36 x 12 foot
The Chichester caravans are double glazed and have full central heating. They have two twin bedrooms at one end and a double bedroom at the other end. Ideal if there are 4 adults or if you want to be away from the kids! There is a spacious lounge/dining area and kitchen with microwave, gas cooker with hob and full size fridge/freezer. The main shower room with hand basin and toilet also acts as an en-suite to the double bedroom with a separate toilet for the two twin rooms. The Chichester also benefits from a 21” widescreen TV with built in DVD player. Smoking strictly prohibited.

Suffolk
Sleeps 6, 34 x 10 foot
The Suffolk is a great budget grade caravan with a double and two twin bedrooms. A comfortable lounge/dining area and galley style kitchen with under counter fridge and microwave. There is also an integrated oven and separate hob. It has a shower room with basin and toilet. Heating to the lounge only. Smoking strictly prohibited.

Hampshire
Sleeps 4, 35 x 12 foot
The Hampshire is our flagship accommodation with one double room, one twin room and full double glazing and central heating. The lounge and dining areas are stylish and inviting with a gas fire in a contemporary wood fireplace and a modern dining table and chairs. Ambient lighting is created with concealed pelmet lights and stepped downlights. There is a widescreen LCD TV and DVD Player in the lounge. It also has a second TV in the master bedroom. The oak and cream kitchen offers microwave, full size fridge freezer and gas cooker with hob. There is a modern shower room with toilet and basin. The main bedroom also benefits from an en-suite toilet. The Hampshire boasts its own decking area with patio furniture. Smoking strictly prohibited.

The Isle of Wight - an ideal holiday destination

The Isle of Wight is an ideal holiday destination and is easily accessible by ferry. As agents for ferry operators Red Funnel and Wightlink, we are able to book the crossings for you, usually at a preferred rate.

For those who enjoy walking or cycling part of the island's extensive network of bridleways and footpaths can be accessed directly from the park. Nearby you can also find fishing, horse riding and golf. We are superbly located for you to enjoy a pleasure flight in an aeroplane or helicopter and see the island from the skies. The neighbouring grass aerodrome is a fascinating attraction for the young and old alike!

There is a comprehensive indoor sports and leisure complex just over a mile away with two indoor pools. We are a two minute drive from a Morrisons store and the nearest bus stop is a five minute walk away.

The Isle of Wight has an unrivalled range of attractions to offer. Whether you are looking for excitement, relaxation or wholesome family fun, there is something on the Island for you.

Planet Ice
The Planet Ice Arena is easy accessed through the islands transport with the trains and buses stopping not 5 minutes away. The rink offers public skating for beginners through to professionals, including ice skating lessons for those wanting to learn from scratch or improve their skills. With all day and evening sessions and also hockey skills and weekend disco sessions, Planet Ice is the place to be to keep your family entertained. A fantastic ice rink with sound and lights plus spectator entertainment available all year round.

Owl & Monkey Haven
Welcome to the Owl & Monkey Haven; the Isle of Wight's brand new multi-award winning animal attraction that simply cannot be missed!

Home to a diverse collection of rescued primates and birds of prey, the Haven has been designed with its inhabitants needs and requirements taking full priority. Blackgang Chine
Blackgang Chine is the oldest Theme Park in the UK. We have been going since 1843 and we strive to give you an experience like no other. Where else can dinosaurs mix with pirates, cowboys with giant bugs.

Overlooking the spectacular South West Heritage Coast of the Isle of Wight, Blackgang Chine is an eccentric mix of exciting rides, goblins and fairies, dinosaurs, nursery rhyme characters, cowboys and Indians all set within rambling Victorian gardens and designed to appeal to the child in us all!

Dinosaur Isle
In a spectacular pterosaur shaped building watching over Sandown’s blue flag beach is Britain’s first purpose built dinosaur museum. Walk back through fossilised time to the period of the dinosaurs where you will find amongst the fossils many interactive displays. On a recreated landscape enhanced by sights, smells and sounds you will meet life sized dinosaurs including our animatronic Neovenator. Guided fossil hunts (which must be pre booked) have proved to be a popular addition to a visit.

Isle of Wight Stream Railway
The Isle of Wight once boasted 54 miles of railway, most of which was closed between 1952 and 1966. Happily, its unique atmosphere has been perfectly preserved by the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, which has often been recognised with awards and commendations. We have three-times been named Independent Railway of the Year, and in 2004 we were honoured with a visit from The Queen. There is a fantastic tea room with an array of tasty delights, and a shop for unique books, gifts, toys and momentoes! Whenever you visit, there is always pleanty to see!
