What was great?
Loved the dog walking field, loved being able to book a pitch, brilliant pitch nice and spacious it was pitch 17 on the hardstanding, an end pitch. The site is clean, all the facilities work and have recently been upgraded. The showers are numerous and clean, same for the toilets. The laundrette is brilliant, the powder and conditioner are included in the £4.00 wash price. Drying is extra. There is one machine that you can put your own powder in. There are 4 or 5 ironing boards with irons too. Showers are free, hairdryer is free but a bit feeble, but there are sockets so you can plug your own in. The facilities are fantastic, there are two outdoor pools, a sunbathing terrace, and indoor pool, gym and spa (extra charges for these). The shop stocks enough to see you through plus loads of gift bits and pieces. The restaurant, bar and cafe are all great, evening entertainment is good (only went the one night). The kids loved it. There is also an chippy onsite (its ok and handy) The fishing pools are lovely, the walk into Dawlish Warren is great its about 30-35 mins (we are quick strong walkers) The walk back is longer because its very steep, you cannot use the woodland walk to cycle to dawlish warren unless you are an accomplished mountain biker. The playgrounds are fabulous and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The best site we have ever stayed on!

Even better if....
There need to be a few more water taps about, and maybe another chemical waste point. There is rarely a queue its just a bit of a hilly trek. These in no way spoiled our holiday, I just felt it should be mentioned.

What was great?
A family run campsite so all staff are willing to help, the place is clean, well maintained and generally a nice place to be! Lots of things for the kids to do including 2 play areas, a woodland activity play area, indoor and outdoor pool and amusements. We have been several times and will definitely be going again!

Even better if....

What was great?
Love that there is so much for everyone to do with both an indoor pool and outdoor pool. Everywhere was accessible in a buggy including going around the shop and the restaurant/pantry. We just keep going back as we can relax and know that everyone in the family is happy.

Even better if....
On a busy bank holiday the restaurant/pantry coped badly with very long waits for part of a tables order and then having to send the food back when it finally arrived. Sort these staff members out and you will have perfection.
