What was great?
it was very quiet. old fashioned. neat static caravans with pretty gardens probably residential. some very old ordinary caravans with attached tents. somewhat ramshackled. nice cars though. two large fishing ponds very well attended. very hot water available in showers and toilets. a great improvement on our previous stay last year in October. a very wet weekend! manager very helpful. 10 pounds deposit required for key to loos and showers. electric hookup included in night fee of 10 pounds (2014)

Even better if....
it was perfectly adequate, but could do with a general tidyup around the older caravans which hadn't been moved for years. no information about the river at the end of the lane. beautiful area lots of boating down there. we found it by accident looking for the campsite. no signage outside, we had to phone last year for clearer instructions, we knew where to go this year. as there are two entrances! when its tidied up we may post a few pics, the ones we have don't do it any favours. but we will go again next year
