What was great?
A beautiful campsite, comprising of smaller hedged fields.There used to be a monastery here and you can still see some of the remains. Hook-up is standard. There are litter bins and water points fairly closely situated to each pitch. The heated shower blocks are immaculately clean and there is hot running water for washing-up. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Sometimes deer can be seen if you are lucky. There is a bus stop nearby and it costs £1.50 (£3.50 all day ticket) for each bus journey. It is only forty minutes ride into the city, but you must have the exact fare ready. The number 26 will take you to Prince's Street.

Even better if....
There was only one negative aspect to my stay and it was the fact that hot water for handwashing laundry is metered. I find this unnecessary and mean. However, this is only a minor gripe and does nor affect my delight for this campsite.
