What was great?
Ahhhh. We were met by the owner's son Paul, what a really great guy, we asked for a sunny pitch and this was not a problem for him, the site is small accommodating about 11 caravans/motor homes. It has a really nice relaxed vibe nice and peaceful. Our son was taking part in war time event in Bradford and we asked Paul if we could stay late on the Sunday due to the time of the event ending, again this was not a problem and he did not charge us for the extra time and did not charge us for our son who is 19 yrs, that's the first time that has happened, The site will be entering an England In Bloom competition (Good Luck). There was a couple of porta cabins (female/male) with a few toilets and a shower basic but clean and in good running order the shower was nice and hot. To be truthful I didn't want to go home. Will definitely be back as it's only about an hour away from home and going back is something that we very rarely do but this is a great site for a quick get away. There is a pub about an 8 min walk, we did not go in as we had drinks at the caravan enjoying the site and the great weather. There are several residential homes on site to which are on the other side, Paul did say that they are extending the site if they get planning permission, hope this does not spoil the vibe.

Even better if....
Nothing to dislike really apart from the site could do with the sign that gives you the phone numbers of who to call upon arrival being a little bigger than it was as there was not a reception area from what we could see. We are not dog owners but there are no pets of any kind allowed on site.
