What was great?
Very friendly site, with tonnes of space in the centre for kids to play. Well draining pitches as the site has sandy soil (which was good as there was A LOT of rain on the first night!). Clean site, well organised and a modern shower and toilet block with hot, free showers. Great washing up facilities. Great access for The Wye Valley and Forest of Dean.

Even better if....
It's hard for the site to control this, of course, and I am likely to be more sensitive than many, as we live in the middle of nowhere with no noise of any description to disturb a night's sleep. However, the noise, throughout the night from the A40 and other local A roads, might be difficult for some.
