What was great?
As we arrived we pulled up at the parking point, near the reception and were greeted by Julie (Site Owner) after a chat, we then met Dave and Sarah who are site wardens they were very friendly and jovial, we then choose our pitch which was by the fabulous pond with fountain, it was quite a large hard standing pitch, with electricity supply, there are 20 Pitches with gravel hardstandings,16 amp electric hook-up, fresh drinking water hook up, grey waste water disposal, Sky/Digital TV hook up and WiFi on all pitches. We had a wander about the spotless well maintain gardens and woodland walk areas where we discovered the historic dog graves, There’s a communal washing/laundry room, which has books and local information, which Julie (site Owner) said is to be upgraded shortl. The shower block/wash areas smallish but very clean and adequate, there also a waste water & Chemical waste point which again was spotless. There’s a large fenced dog exercise area on site, they can also run around in the wooded area. If you’re keen on fishing you can fish in the pond there’s also a few benches where you’re able to sit and relax. There’s no shop on site so it’s advisable to do your shopping before you arrive. We will be returning to this site again and we would recommend it to anyone.
