Dundee has a good shopping centre as does Perth, both an easy ride on the hourly bus either way from here, with last bus due back after 23.30 at night.

It also has characters from the Dandy comic round the town as monuments to the local printers. Perth on the River Tay is also a fine city to walk round with the Black Watch Museum and Scone Palace just out of town. Glamis Castle is not far away.
