Garrison Holidays - the perfect base to experience & explore the Magical Isles of Scilly.

Just a few minutes from The Quay, located on the historic Garrison on St Mary's, we offer great value family accommodation to suit all needs & budgets.

The choice is yours - stay in one of our Cottages, the historic Tower or bring your own accomodation & pitch your tent on our spacious Campsite.

Why not Travel Light & still go Camping with our READI Tents option - all the benefits of a Great Camping Experience, but with a lot less luggage!

Surrounded by Crystal Clear waters, Sandy Beaches & Natural Beauty, with so much to do & see a holiday on the Isles of Scilly is a unique Experience!

Self Catering Accommodation

Cedar Cottage

Cedar Cottage is a tastefully decorated,(Four Star) three-bedroomed cottage on two floors. The ground floor consists of two twin bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, dining room & fully equipped kitchen that includes washing machine, tumble drier & dishwasher.

Upstairs consists of an (en-suite) double bedroom & a comfortable lounge with a TV & DVD player. Outside Cedar Cottage has an enclosed garden with furniture & a barbeque.

The Tower

This unique Old Lookout Tower was originally built in the 1600's as a windmill, & later was converted to a lookout tower as part of the Garrison fortifications.

The accommodation is on four levels & consists of a double bedroom at the top, with a balcony''The second-floor sitting room has a two-seater sofa, drop leaf table, chairs, TV & DVD player. On the next level down is a fully equipped, though compact kitchen. The bathroom with shower, is on the ground floor, access is gained down some fairly steep external stone steps. There is a barbeque & garden furniture in the garden.

Greystones Cottages

Greystones Cottages were built from Granite in 1902 & served as the Officers cottages during the Victorian period.

Greystones One

Greystones One accommodates up to six people in two bedrooms. One has a double bed, the other two singles. The large sitting room/dining room also has a sofa bed. The cottage is fully carpeted, tastefully decorated & furnished.

Greystones Two

Greystones Two, again tastefully decorated & furnished with twin beds in the bedroom & a large double sofa bed in the lounge/dining room. There is a table & chairs, coffee table & combi TV/DVD.

The separate kitchen is fully-equipped with oven, microwave, hob, fridge, washing machine, toaster & kettle. The bathroom has an electric shower, bath, hand wash basin & toilet. An iron, ironing board & a vacuum cleaner are also provided for your convenience.

A separate well-equipped kitchen includes a washing machine & tumble drier. The bathroom is fully tiled & has a bath, hand basin & lavatory. The lounge has an open fire place, with a back boiler & a combi TV/DVD. An iron, ironing board & a vacuum cleaner are also provided for your convenience.

Camping on The Garrison is by far one of the best ways to escape the demands of today's "fast, modern" world & experience the beauty of Scilly.

Camping at The Garrison is a Unique, Value for Money, Green & Fun way to experience the Magic of Scilly. Here on our 9.5 acre site, you will enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere & with today's camping technology, it's now so easy to get closer to the outdoors & escape the constraints of modern living.

Al Fresco dining is at its best here on Scilly - there's nothing like the smell of a barbeque, eating outdoors & enjoying a glorious sunset on The Garrison.

Garrison Campsite is a family run & orientated site - small enough to be intimate & personal, yet large enough to retreat into a quiet corner & remain anonymous if desired - the choice is yours. Many Campers return year on year, making new friendships & renewing old ones.

The site layout ensures a degree of intimacy & privacy, whilst the abundance of birds, butterflies & wildlife guarantees to entertain & delight.

We provide all the essentials with a well stocked Shop, WiFi, Mobile Phone/Laptop Charging(with your own charger), Toilet Blocks, Showers, Dry Room, Washing Up & Laundry facilities.

We also have 10 Electric Hook Ups that can be reserved in advance if required.

We can transport your luggage from & to the Scillonian III Ferry, Taxis are available at the airport, should you choose to fly via Skybus.

Trolleys are available on site to transport Tents & Equipment to your individual pitch.

If you prefer to Travel Light, or are New to Camping & want try it out first, why not try our READI Tent option - just bring your Sleeping Bag & a Toothbrush! (a few clothes might be useful as well)

No motor vehicles are permitted on the Campsite.

There are some superb views from the site, & a short walk leads to the historic Garrison walls where you can enjoy the rugged Scilly coastline, breath-taking Island views & the beauty of the Crystal Clear waters that surround us.

The islands are a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), & many rare species of birds & plant life are found here, some unique to Scilly.

Maybe you're a Family looking for some Quality Time together, perhaps you just want to top up your tan on a Sandy Beach, go on an Island Hop Day Trip, Dive with Seals or just kick off your shoes & relax, you've come to the right place. Activities of many types are available on the Islands.

Pre erected Quality Tents, with all the necessary Camping Equipment to enjoy your Camping Experience are now available at Garrison Holidays. All you have to bring is your sleeping bag & a toothbrush!

READI Tent is the ideal solution for those New to Camping, Families wanting a Holiday without all the Baggage or Members of a Club/Organisation going on a Field Trip. READI Tent Bookings are available for minimum of 3 nights

Luggage transport from The Quay if required, is included in the Price for all READI Tent customers.

The campsite is open from the first day the Scillonian 111 ferry sails until the end of October.
