What was great?
If looking for a handy stop off point when heading up or down the M6 this is a beautiful site and is only minutes from the motorway. Phone/internet reception is dodgy, but who cares for a night or 2!! The owners are very friendly and the facilities are spot on and the fees are very reasonable. As the name suggests it is part of a working farm and the pitches are all grass but seem to drain very well.
