Lovely spacious fields with direct access to Lake Bala.

Try to cram in too many Tourers at weekends.

What was great?
Nothing was particularly great about the site. It was situated alongside the beautiful lake in Bala and the site was kept generally clean. There was a bus service operating outside the site. The site also had a small shop which was handy and the Receptionists were very pleasant and helpful.

Even better if....
It was very disappointing to find that after erecting our privacy awning in sweltering heat that we were unable to have a shower until after 5.00 p.m. The showers were only open during the following times:- 7.00 a.m. - 10.00 a.m. 5.00 p.m. - 10.00 p.m. This matter was not brought to our attention at the time of booking. It would have been nicer if you could have showered whenever you wished! Have never camped at a site before where you were restricted to times!
