Glen Nevis Holidays near Fort William, offers some of the best self-catering holiday accommodation and caravan park facilities in the west of Scotland. The park is located at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles, which dominates this beautiful Highland glen. Glen Nevis Holidays provides excellent self-catering accommodation in Highland Lodges, Holiday Cottages and Holiday Caravans. We also have a four star Touring Caravan and Camping Park and a very good countryside Restaurant and Bar - all just a few minutes by car from Fort William town centre.

Our self-catering and caravan/camping areas are completely separate parks about half a mile apart with the restaurant and bar conveniently situated between both.

5* Luxury Lodges

Our Luxury Highland Lodges are built to the highest standards and offer 5 Star comfort and luxury over two stories. The lodges sleep up to seven, making them perfect for the larger family, or simply for those who appreciate the luxury of plenty of space.

Each holiday lodge is placed away from the access road to guarantee peace and privacy. There is generous parking, good pathways and surrounding space.

The Lodges present:

Downstairs

* Open plan Lounge/Dining room, complete with plenty of comfortable seating, a 42” Freesat TV, BD/DVD player, radio/CD, remote control flame effect fire and an eight-seat dining table.
* Kitchen – fitted with quality integrated appliances, combined washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave, as well as a range of good utensils, cookware, crockery, glassware and cutlery.
* Double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
* Twin bedroom.
* Luxury bathroom with Jacuzzi bath (shower over).

Upstairs

* Master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
* Twin bedroom with en-suite shower-room.
* A snug seating area with TV and books.

All the beds are large size, with quality mattresses and bedding for a perfect night’s sleep. We provide all bed linen and plenty of fluffy towels for your comfort. We also supply a small welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, shortbread, etc, to complement your arrival.

There is a small combination safe for valuables and a highchair and cot are also available.

All lodges have central heating and a payphone.

Outside there is a spacious patio area with outdoor table and chairs.

All our properties are non-smoking and pet-free.

4* Highland Lodges

Our Highland Lodges are traditionally built to a very high standard, sleeping up to six persons and offer a very high degree of comfort and convenience.

Each holiday lodge is placed away from the access road to guarantee peace and privacy. There are good pathways, generous parking and surrounding space.

Accommodation is on one level.

Each Lodge has:

* Three generous bedrooms, one double and two twin, providing accommodation for up to six people.

4* Foresters Lodge

Foresters Lodge, an individual estate property which as its name suggests has past links with nearby Nevis Forest, is a luxurious self-catering holiday lodge, refurbished and modernised to a high standard.

Conveniently situated off the roadside and near to the River Nevis, Foresters Lodge is ideal for families with its enclosed garden at front and rear.

Accommodation is on one level.

3* Holiday Cottages

Imagine the freedom and independence of your own Holiday Cottage in the Highlands – purpose built with every comfort, allowing you to make yourself truly at home in scenic Glen Nevis.

Each Holiday Cottage is thoughtfully placed away from our access road to guarantee peace and privacy. There is ample parking with good pathways and garden space

The accommodation is on one level.

Each cottage has:

* Two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and also a pull down single bed in the living room providing compact accommodation for up to five people.
* Bathroom, bath (shower over) WC and wash basin.
* Living room with comfortable seating, Freesat TV, DVD player, electric fire, and dining area seating five persons.
* Fully fitted kitchen, with electric cooker, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, and a comprehensive range of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.

3* Holiday Caravans

The freedom and independence of your own static holiday caravan, to come and go as you please, to relax or be active as you wish for a week or two…

Our caravan holiday homes are selected with care to provide the best design and versatility. All are very well maintained and well spaced with grassy areas, trees and shrubs throughout. There are good roads and footpaths around the park with parking adjacent to each caravan.

We have three types to suit all budgets.

Willerby Herald – Type 1 Caravan 32’ x 10’ (sleeping 2 - 4 persons)

These caravans are well finished and have a roomier double bedroom making them ideal for couples.

Each holiday caravan provides:

* Two bedrooms (one double and one twin). A fold out bed is also available in the lounge area.
* Lounge area with comfortable seating, Freesat TV, dining area to seat four persons, and gas/electric heating system.
* Well appointed kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, comprehensive range of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.
* Shower room with WC and wash basin.
* Double glazing throughout.

Willerby Westmorland – Type 2 Caravan 35’ x 12’ (sleeping 2 - 6 persons)

These caravans are of a high specification and offer spacious and versatile accommodation, ideal for family holidays.

Each holiday caravan provides:

* Three bedrooms (one double and two twin).
* Lounge area with comfortable seating, Freesat TV, dining area to seat six persons, and gas/electric heating system.
* Well appointed kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, comprehensive range of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.
* Shower room with wash basin.
* Separate WC room with wash basin.
* Double glazing throughout.

Willerby Westmorland – Type 3 Caravan 35’ x 12’ (sleeping 2 – 4 persons)

These caravans are our top of the range, well appointed, comfortable and spacious, with a larger lounge area and are perfect for families seeking a high specification.

Each holiday caravan provides:

* Two bedrooms (one double and one twin).
* Lounge area with comfortable seating, Freesat TV, dining area to seat five people, with gas/electric central heating system.
* Well appointed kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, comprehensive range of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.
* Shower room with WC and wash basin.
* Double glazing throughout.

We provide bed linen and towels in all our caravans for your comfort. We also supply a small welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, shortbread, etc, to complement your arrival.

A highchair and travel-cot can be made available, please request when booking.

A picnic bench is provided near each caravan.

There is a small laundry and a telephone kiosk situated on site for patrons use.

4* Camping & Touring

The park extends over 30 acres and provides separate fields for caravans/motorhomes and tents, screened by trees, hedges and shrubs to complement the surroundings. The park is serviced throughout with hard roads and stances for each caravan and roads and general parking nearby to most tent pitches.

Clean, modern facilities include:

* 40 fully serviced pitches for caravans/motorhomes – water, drainage, electricity – booking required.
* 150 partially serviced pitches for caravans/motorhomes – electricity only (water and drainage nearby), operated on a first come first served basis.
* ‘Drive over’ service point for motorhomes.
* Chemical toilet sluice.
* Tent pitches with electric hook-up – booking required.
* Standard tent pitches - we have about 40 bookable non-serviced pitches and the rest are operated on first come first served basis.
* Washrooms with toilets, free hot showers, wash hand basins, razor points and hand dryers.
* Disabled customers have private facilities with full wheelchair access including shower.
* Launderette with washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing facilities, as well as sinks for hand washing clothes.
* Dish wash and food preparation sinks.
* Picnic tables throughout the park.
* Children’s play area with an area for ball games.
* Dog walking and exercise areas.
* Well stocked shop.
* Ice pack freezing facilities.
* Information on ‘Things to see and do’ in the Lochaber area.
* Public Telephones.
* 24 hour security.
* Restaurant and Lounge Bar just a few minutes’ walk away.

BY CAR

We are a short drive from the centre of Fort William.

If you are approaching Fort William from the north you will see our signpost on the roundabout just after you cross a bridge over the River Nevis on the way into town.

If you are approaching from the south then stay on the A82 and you will find our signpost at the second roundabout you encounter after bypassing the town.

It is roughly a 45 minute walk to the park from Fort William - just follow the road up the glen, it's paved all the way.

Inverness airport is the closest airport to the park - it is a 70 mile journey. Cars are available to hire from the airport and there is a regular bus service from the centre of Inverness to Fort William.

What a fantastic site

What was great?
Welcoming and helpful staff. Execellently maintained grounds with hedging which gave the impression of a much smaller site that it actually is. Also lots of open areas for kids to play...too easy to be greedy and cram other units into these.Toilet/shower facilities are excellent and well positioned with refuse bins emptied regularly to avoid overflow. Well stocked shop (food and camping gear) and a snack van doing breakfasts each morning. Bar/Restaurant and a Cafe both with 10 mins walk.

Even better if....
Nothing to add.....just a perfect site.
