What was great?
Last stayed here 10 years ago, albeit in a tent. It was a bit basic and dated. What a transformation. Great hardstanding pitches with plenty of space. Toilet/shower block is spotlessly clean and there is now "The Bothy".... a little haven to chill out with a kettle, microwave, a few seats and a clothes drier. A great alternative to lying reading in a one man tent. Very welcoming and helpful at reception. All in all a fantastic site now. Must also mention the House o' Hill hotel just 10 mins walk along the road. Top quality food and service at pub prices (need to book though)

Even better if....
...it hadn't rain however that did subdue the midges.
