There are supermarkets in all 3 surrounding towns - Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury - all about 10 minutes away.
Additionally a mobile van visits the site daily from the Village Stores in the next village.

We drink CIDER round here :-)
The Crossways in North Wootton is 3/4 mile from the campsite, the only pub in walking distance.
The Crown at Pilton and the Lion at West Pennard are both just a few mins away and offer traditional ales.

There are local markets every week in all 3 nearby towns.
Biggest and most popular is Wells on Wednesdays and Saturdays

Somewhere else. We don't take dogs at Greenacres!

There is an abundance of excellent places to eat nearby.

Clarks Village Factory Outlet at Street is a shoppers paradise and less than 15 minutes away. There's also the Mulberry shop and designer outlet at Kilver Court, Shepton Mallet, just 10 mins from Greenacres.

There is a small independent garage for repairs in the village, with main dealers for most marques not too far away.
Wells Tyre Services in Wells is reliable and cheap for tyres, batteries, exhausts etc.

Tesco at Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury are both about 10 mins from the site. There are also stations in Wells.

Add to this list the new Morrisons Supermarket in Wells.

It is worth noting that we are NOT well served for Autogas LPG in this area. The closest station is at least 1/2hour drive from here :-(

We are *SO* well served with lots of attractions within 30 mins.
Top of the list are Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar caves & Gorge, Longleat, Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor & Abbey and the Fleet Air Arm Museum.
We're also spoiled for choice of nature sites - the Avalon Marshes and Ebbor Gorge being our personal favourites.
