What was great?
Fantastic location, Loch/beach side with views of distant mountains. Lots of wild life bird spotters paradise, Seals Dolphins and Whales if you are lucky. Lots of o nice walks from site and dogs allowed, great cycling area though very hilly with some testing Tour de France type climbs. Small site with electric hook-ups to all pitches but you will need a long lead to some pitches. Small store come Post Office and Petrol station near.

Even better if....
Site facilities a little run down on last visit but adequate, I use on board facilities anyway. Laide is actually a series of mainly holiday let crofter cottages spread over a large area so not a village as such so not much in the way of Pubs or night life etc. The site is remote so make sure you have a full tank of fuel before leaving Inverness if you come that way.
