What was great?
ideally located close to the sea front, all the facilities Barmouth has to offer ,i.e. shops, super markets, pubs, cafe's and restaurants even a train station are only minutes away on foot along the prom. the site itself is well laid out, has clean modern toilet / shower blocks etc, the staff are very welcoming and helpful, each pitch has it's own water tap as well as the usual ehu which also have an aerial plug in point. the kids are catered for too as there is a good sized play /family picnic area, with safety flooring around the swings etc. theres also a quiet well stocked shop on site for those little bits that we all need from time to time , i.e. bread, milk, etc. attractions like Harlech castle, Portmeirion and mount Snowdon are all with-in easy reach

This site is virtually right by the sea. Ample to do for children on and around site. Very good, clean, well laid out site. Owners are extremely helpful and friendly.Barmouth is a short walk or cycle ride away and is a very beautiful subtle town.

Occasionally showers were not 100% clean

the MIN-Y- MOR is only a 5 minute walk from the site, friendly staff reasonably priced menu with good sized portions beer garden to front of the pub over looking the sea front

the LAST INN is within easy walking distance along the sea front from the site a good ,well portioned, reasonably priced menu as well as the 'normal' pub beverages there's also a selection of real ales to choose from. live music at least twice a week views across the harbour

Even better if....
very close to the main road with no real footpath
