What was great?
My family and I have visited this campsite on countless occasions over the years in various tents and caravans and enjoyed it so much we now have a seasonal pitch (after enquiring over several years as these pitches are highly sought after) Where to start....the toilets - two blocks - are always spotless, dispensers always full and everything always in working order. The grass is trimmed regularly keeping the site looking good, there are plenty bin areas complete with recycling and these are emptied several times a day. There is a pleasant dog walk alongside the river Balvaig - which is free to fish from the site. Both Emma and john who run the site are always willing to help out with any problems. The area is surrounded by beautiful mountains, cycle paths, forest walks and drives. Lochearnhead water sports centre is a short drive away as is the Trossachs and Blair Drummond safari park. The local Inn is within walking distance or there are several eateries just a short drive in either direction.

The MIDGES! But its Scotland and can't be helped :-)
