What was great?
Beautiful little site with its own river and grassy open spaces. Unobtrusively run and quite informal. Excellent shower and washing facilities. The site is a short walk from The Hermitage - one of the most beautiful outdoor NTS properties, and a 20 minute walk from the twin towns of Birnam and Dunkeld. I've been camping here since 1977.

What was great?
The location for this site couldn't be better,located in-between Pitlochry & Dunkeld. The site itself is well kept with excellent toilets and showers. No shop on site but plenty within walking distance in Dunkeld (well worth a visit). Access is very easy off the A9. There are lovely walks, waterfalls and rivers nearby, and for those who enjoy a good curry there is a brilliant Indian restaurant in Dunkeld. All in all a great place to stay.

Even better if....
The site was a little crowded when we first arrived and we were pitched in a tight little corner of the site, which was a little noisy at times. If i visit again I would request a pitch to the left in the main area of the site, away from the farm buildings, and the tents (which had loud music playing some of the time)

What was great?
Lovely quiet site with a flat grass pitch (some hard standing mainly used for motor homes), electric hook up and spotless toilet/shower facilities. We have been here few times now and always found it to be friendly and clean - great scenery and quiet - the river running through the park is a delight and fishing is included in the price!!

Even better if....
Midges - again they bite. The last time we visited the park was VERY busy and although we had a good time it fealt crowded and not altogether safe - certainly not much room between vans. Still quiet though and friendly - everyone just got on with it - we were all there to relax after all.
