What was great?
Little wood caravan site is exactly as advertised, the site is secure behind electrically operated gates and has a large parking area for visitors cars. The pitch we used was fully serviced so no fetching and emptying of water of the entire stay. The pitch was level with gravel hard standing for the van and a grass area for the awning. The toilet block was clean and well maintained with large shower cubicles (but only two in the men's and two in the ladies). If you were in a standard pitch there were plenty of hookup points, taps and waist points you were never far from anything and all the pitches look level. We went at the end of the season so the pools were closed but there is a club house with pool table TV, books and sitting area. There were facilities there for dances and even a projector and screen which I assume was for cinema nights but as I say we were there at the very end of the season so none of this was in use. There are a lot of touring vans that are there all year round so often people there to help and know the area well for suggestions. Our reception was good and the site owners were very helpful.
