Welcome to Meadow Lakes Holiday Park

Meadow Lakes formerly known as Trencreek Farm Holiday Park, offers holiday accommodation in Cornwall; Caravans, Bungalows and Luxury Lodges to rent, Camping Pods to rent or buy and facilities for Tenting and Touring, pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes.

We also offer Luxury Caravans and Luxury Lodges to purchase, so you can have your own holiday home in Cornwall.

Meadow lakes offers FREE fishing in any of our four coarse fishing lakes, to everyone staying in any accommodation. You can also enjoy swimming or relaxing beside our heated outdoor swimming pool.

We have indoor and outdoor play areas, with a variety of play equipment and our own pets corner, and we are a dog friendly park, with large exercise field.

Garden Cottages and Eden Bungalows to rent at Meadow Lakes

The beautiful garden cottages at meadow lakes are situated close to all the amenities, swimming pool, reception, shop and the fishing lakes and parking is close to each cottage.
Because the cottages and bungalows have central heating, they are open from March to the middle of January only closing for eight weeks a year, so you can even enjoy the festive season of Christmas and New Year.
All cottages include linen, beds made up ready for your arrival.

Eden Bungalow

Two bedrooms (sleeps 4)
Comfortable bungalow with one double bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds, central heating, bath and separate WC and central heating.
Also pet friendly.

Garden Cottages

One bedroom (sleeps 2-4) (this will open in a new window)
Refurbished to a high standard, luxurious, contemporary bungalow with flat screen TV and DVD.

One large master bedroom with luxury en suite bath with shower over, sofa bed in lounge and central heating.

Rental Caravans at Meadow Lakes

Caravans at meadow lakes can be booked from March until January (including Christmas season) unless specified.
All our caravans include: cooker, fridge, microwave, lounge/diner, remote control colour TV, and some a pull out bed in the lounge,
Pillows, duvets & linen are all included, beds made up ready for your arrival

Camping Pods

Go ‘Glamping’ in Cornwall in the Meadow Lakes camping pods providing, convenient, comfortable and alternative overnight accommodation.
Similar to camping but without the drawbacks of weather conditions.
The pods are constructed of sustainable timber and are very well insulated, keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The Pods also have heating, electrical points and lighting.
Enjoy the ‘Glamping’ experience; with no need to erect a tent in the wind or rain.
Bring everything for camping except the tent!
Enjoy relaxing outside the pod too, in a decked area in front of the two patio-style doors, perfect for that early evening sunset moment!
The Pods also have their own Parking area close to the pods.
If you love the idea of camping but want to keep dry and cosy and away from the creepy crawlies, then our cute Camping Pods are the answer for you.

Meadow Lakes is close to the fishing village of Mevagissey and St Austell in 56 acres of Cornish countryside. The pods have their own private area which includes parking close to the pod itself. They have fantastic views and are within walking distance to the four coarse fishing lakes. What is included in your pod experience? We have 2 different sized pods available at Meadow Lakes: one standard pod suitable for 2 adults and 2 small children and one larger pod suitable for 2 adults and 3 small children.

Fishing Lakes

Meadow Lakes holiday park has four coarse fishing lakes; two 2-acre lakes and two 1-acre lakes.

They are generously stocked with a fine head of mixed coarse species and provide free fishing for booked accommodation.

The fishing is superb with ghost carp (up to 26 pounds), common carp (up to 18 pounds), mirror carp (up to 10 pounds),
bream (up to 4.8 pounds), roach and rudd (up to 2 pounds), eels (up to 6 pounds – must go back in the lake alive)
tench (at 1 pound) and the best fish are the perch (at 4.5 pounds) in lakes 3 and 4.

- Fishermen must have a valid National Rod Licence, Permit has to be obtained from reception
- Barbless hooks have to be used, no boilies, nuts or cat food
- Night fishing is not allowed
- Parking is not allowed near the lakes unless you have a blue disabled badge
- A car parking area is available on site

Swimming Pool

Meadow Lakes Holiday Park offers a heated outdoor swimming pool and a children’s paddling pool

Open daily between May and September with changing rooms and shower facilities.

The main swimming pool is heated and is 12m x 6m (72m2) in size

Depth. 1.5 metres at the deep end, 1 metre at the shallow end (step end)

Baby pool is also heated and is 3 metres x 3.5 metres (10.5m2) Depth 0.4 metres

The Changing rooms consist of 5 showers cubicles (Inc 1 disabled unit) the toilet is located in the disabled shower unit. Access is on a level area from the road/car park.

The pool area has a grassed lounging area and a slab patio. Some sun loungers are provided on a first come first served basis, with no reserve service.

There is no life guard on duty but CCTV is in operation with regular checks from staff members.

Dogs Welcome

Dogs are welcome at Meadow Lakes as we are a dog friendly holiday park in cornwall, dog friendly caravans , dog friendly cottages , dog friendly lodges and dogs are welcome if you are camping or touring.
At Meadow Lakes we like to welcome all members of your family including your pets. We have various types of self catering accommodation suitable for pets.
Our park is a great place for your pet to explore, with its natural countryside and wildlife, but we do have a few rules that we kindly ask dog owners to adhere to:-
Dogs can be walked, on a lead, anywhere on the park (dogs must be kept away from the animal enclosure area).
We do have a large dog exercise field and your dog can be let off the lead and enjoy some freedom on his holiday anywhere in this field.
Please ask at reception for the dog friendly beaches nearby.
Owners are responsible to clear up after their dogs and dog waste bins are provided.
We do not allow you to leave your dog alone in either your accommodation or in your tent or caravan.

Animals at Meadow Lakes

Meadow Lakes Holiday Park has many animals who are cared for by the staff. Many customers return each year to see the animals as they are a big attraction for the park.

Amongst the pets in our petting area are Ant and Dec, born in Shropshire and came to Meadow Lakes in 2004. They are Saanen goats and are extremely friendly.

Billy Pygmy Goat
Menace is a Billy Pygmy Goat and is also very friendly and enjoys his neck being rubbed. Menace is unusual in the fact that he is a very fussy eater! He came to Meadow Lakes in 2005.

Donkeys
Kingpin (the brown donkey) and Zentor came to Meadow Lakes from a donkey sanctuary in 2001 at a young age. They are very friendly and laid back and love attention. You may see them playing together and although this looks quite rough at times it is perfectly normal donkey behaviour!
Donkeys can live up to 40 years of age so Kingpin and Zentor are still very young.

Shetland Pony
Jimmy is a Shetland Pony and came to Meadow Lakes in 2006. We think he is around 45 years old now, as originally he was owned by a local lady who had him for around 30 years, he has now made himself at home and is lifelong friends with Kingpin and Zentor. Jimmy is quite a character and will always try to plead that he is starving! His coat is extremely thick and is designed to endure extreme cold weather and this is why you will see Jimmy outside munching grass in all weathers!

Harlequin Lionhead Rabbits
Lucy and Danielle are sisters and came to Meadow Lakes in 2010. They were 12 weeks old and had been taken back to the pet shop unwanted . A member of our staff saw their plight and here they are!

Chickens
Roaming around, you will see our chickens who are also very friendly.

Cats
We have various cats around the park. Most of them are black or black and white. You will most likely see Felix around the park who is very friendly and popular with our visitors.

Tennis Courts

Opening Times: 9 am to 7 pm.
Our popular tennis courts offer you a relaxing sport to entertain all the family and may need to be booked during the peak season.
Tennis rackets and balls are available from reception.

Play Areas

Meadow Lakes Holiday Park offers various parts of the park for the children to play;

There are two outdoor grassed play areas, consisting of swings, slides and other recreational play equipment.

There is also a play barn for when the weather is unsuitable for outdoor play.

In the barn you will find a playhouse and other play equipment.

Take Away Facilites

Meadow Lakes would like to introduce you to Cassie
who has a take away onsite called ‘Flanaghan’s Food Bar’.

Cassie offers a wide menu from just a cone of chips to kangaroo!
She will be here every evening in the low and mid season and mornings and evenings in the high season.

Laundrette

Meadow Lakes offers laundry facilities which are located near the swimming pool and at a central location, close to reception.
Open 24 hours, there are 3 large coin operated washing machines and 2 large tumble dryers.
There are multiple sinks for hand washing.
Also provided is an ironing board and iron.
Clothes airers are provided in your accommodation.
Washing detergent is available from our onsite shop.

Centrally located and close to reception, the shop at Meadow Lakes Holiday Park offers many fresh produce and groceries.

The shop is always well stocked and reasonably priced.

Opening times are variable throughout the season.
