What was great?
Excellent site with all pitches fully serviced and with hard standings. Friendly owners who cook delicious fish and chips to order every Thursday! Dog friendly with ample dog walking facilities that cover two fields. A very quiet, adult only site. The shower and toilet block are extremely clean and well maintained with radiators in the shower block! I would recommend this site! Good discounts if you are over 60 or are staying for 5 nights or more.

Even better if....
No public footpaths from the site so it's a car ride to every walk with the dog. Although I'm not knocking the maintenance of the amenities, the toilet and shower block is closed for 2 hours every morning for cleaning, which can be very inconvenient and uncomfortable!

What was great?
Wonderful views of the moor - hence the name!! Very good facilities and friendly help in the reception area.

Even better if....
Might not be enough toilets if busy.
