What was great?
Very large site well kept - clean and tidy. Good laundry facilities and washrooms kept clean. Great access to the lake, the fells and the local village along a private footpath. Dog friendly.

Even better if....
Bar and clubhouse were not open during the week days but there was no reduction in price to account for this. Bar deco (through the window) seemed dated. The site was practically empty when we arrived but we were still sited next to building works which somewhat destroyed to peace and atmosphere!

there is nothing to fault on this campsite, very well maintained and caters for all needs, it has a well stocked shop and a lovely childrens play area, the club house serves lovely food, the staff are always very helpful and the shower blocks are always immaculate, would definately reccommend, lovely walks along lake ulswater just 5 mins away,
