What was great?
Wonderful area, located right by the beach but its not the best of beaches. Overlooking the Summer isles, popular with Kayakers. Great walking country. Good trout fishing. Great pub and restaurant.

What was great?
After the long winding road to get here - the Campsite did not disappoint. What superb location with level pitching and very modern facilities. The newish toilet / showerblock is spotless clean. only criticsm would be the lighting goes out before you get to the end of showering ( and I do not take long ) and you have to out to the entrance door in the scud to get lights back on - or take a torch or go in the daylight. The beach is shingle and rocks but the view is excellent. Good service and food at the owners Bar just up the hill from the site. Weather shortened our stay as we awoke to high winds and heavy rain. Open all year - price for 2 adults / campervan £21 with EHU.

Even better if....
On hindsight we had stayed another night.
