Our family run touring caravan park and campsite offers the idyllic setting for your camping holiday in the beautiful Somerset countryside.

Our park is immaculate and we are proud to have won many accolades including 'The Best Campsite in West of England'.

Static caravans for hire and for sale are also available, providing alterative accomodation to explore Somerset.

Surrounded by stunning panoramic views of the Quantock Hills and ideally situated next to the West Somerset Railway.

We aim to provide you with unforgettable holiday memories and the chance to relax and unwind.

Our mission at Quantock Orchard Caravan Park is to make every customer feel at home.

Insight
This family run business offers a quiet and tranquil atmosphere with a personal touch.
You will be looked after by the proprietors Mike and Sara throughout your stay, who will be on hand to help with any problems.
Our on-site warden is also available for general queries and to handle emergencies.

Arrivals
The park is clearly sign posted and is accessed by a private road which leads to the main reception area. This is where all arrivals and enquiries are dealt with.

Security
24 hour CCTV cameras monitor the site to improve your safety and to ensure our site rules are adhered to.

We have an exciting adventure playground which has slides, a climbing frame, seesaw and swings.
Our park offers a safe environment for your children to play to their heart's content.
Our site can fully cater to the needs of disabled guests.
We offer
Family bathroom with wheel chair access; comprises of a toilet, bath and wash basin.
The majority of our facilities are accessible to wheelchairs. We have ramps to the family bathroom in the facility block and our shop has a paved level entrance.
Wherever possible we try and site disabled customers as near to the facility block as possible.
Why not bring your four-legged friend?
Dogs are welcome and are free of charge.
However, we do request that they are kept on short leads, supervised at all times and must not soil within the park.
Dogs can be exercised along the extensive walk adjacent to the park.
Please be aware that this walk involves using several country lanes. Unfortunately, there is no public right away through the surrounding fields.

Pitches

Our pitches ensure a sense of privacy and space as well as providing a rich natural habitat for birds and other small animals.

Details about our touring pitches:
Spread over 8 acres of land, our large spacious pitches all have 15 amp hock ups.
All our pitches are level, well marked and tastefully landscaped.
We have a mixture of hard standing and grass pitches available.
Most of our pitches are surrounded by mature hedges which offer both privacy and protection from the wind.
Water points, fire points and waste facilities are always nearby.
Six of our pitches are fully serviced with a mains water and waste function.
We have several pitches available for large motorhomes up to 38 feet.

Why not eat al fresco in our communal barbecue area?
Perfect for watching the sunset with a tasty burger sat on our comfortable picnic benches!
Don’t worry about finding your way back, our footpaths and roads are always well lit.
TV Reception is good, however we have converted to digital so do not forget to pack the appropriate appliances.
Free WIFI is available around reception.
Enjoy some well earned relaxation surrounded by tall trees and beautiful gardens.

Swimming Pool

Feeling hot? Why not take a relaxing dip in our refreshing outdoor swimming pool.

If swimming sounds too energetic, relax on our sun loungers with an ice cream and cold drink.

General Information
Our large heated swimming pool is open everyday from May and September between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The site shop is full of all your swimming gear essentials including swimming attire and goggles.
Swimming pool inflatables are also available for children and those young at heart.
We welcome
The swimming pool is free of charge to anyone staying our park.
Our pool is also available to local residents/day visitors at the very reasonable rate of £3 an hour for children under 16 and £4 an hour for adults. Please contact us in advance to use of our swimming pool.
To ensure your safety
A responsible adult must supervise children and weak swimmers at all times.
No smoking, no alcohol consumption and no glass items are allowed around the pool area.

CCTV cameras monitor the pool area to ensure these rules are adhered to.
The pool is well maintained, providing you with the ultimate temptation during the day and a stunning feature at night.

Gym

Welcome to the Millennium Fitness and Leisure Suite

Our modern leisure suite is dedicated to fitness and well being.
Subtle décor, lighting and music enhance the atmosphere while you work out on our superior range of exercise equipment.
Following your workout, experience the ultimate relaxation in our Jacuzzi, Steam room and Sauna. Afterwards take a refreshing shower to wind down then adjourn to the spacious conservatory to relax.

Our wide range of weights machines cover all of the major muscle groups.
To enhance your workout, our gym also has a digital TV, Hi-Fi, energy drink vending machine and a filtered water dispenser.
Free lockers are available to secure all your personal belongings.
Your gym membership also includes the use of our heated swimming pool from May to September.
Parking is available for all gym members.
We offer a full gym induction to our new member to ensure you receive the optimum results from all our exercise equipment.
Our gym is ideally situated in close proximity to both Taunton and Minehead.
We are passionate about helping to conserve the environment with new energy saving sensors which activate only when the gym is occupied.

Bike Hire

Hiring a bike is the healthy and exhilarating way to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside.

General Information
We have a superb range of bikes to hire including mountain bikes, BMX bikes and a tandem.
Bikes are available to hire daily from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Helmets are provided free of charge.
Places to explore
Select your route from our detailed maps and explore the picturesque villages around the park or take a high level tour of the Beautiful Quantock Hills.
Stop and enjoy a refreshing pub lunch at one of the charming inns highlighted on your map.
If you feel more adventurous, ordnance survey maps are available at the park shop to plan your own route through Somerset’s wildness.

If you have forgotten any of those caravanning essentials, our well stocked shop offers a range of goods at competitive prices.

What does our shop offer?
The shop has an excellent variety of groceries. Choose from products to make your bacon sarnies in the morning through to a selection of children's games.
The shop has an off licence, perfect for your evening entertainment.

Opening times:
The shop opens everyday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in the high season.

We offer a pre-order newspaper service to all our visitors making you feel right at home.
We also have the facilities to freeze your ice blocks at a small cost, ideal for your picnic on the Quantock Hills.
In addition, caravan valeting services are available - please ask at the park’s reception.
If you have any queries during your stay our helpful staff will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Our holiday homes vary from 2 to 4 berth and 4 to 6 berth.
Our caravans are fully serviced with mains drainage, water and electricity.

All our holiday homes have modern, spacious interiors and are maintained to the highest standard.
The kitchens are practical and have all the appliances that you need.
The bathrooms are attractively laid out and comprise of a shower, toilet and wash basin.
The bedrooms are beautifully fitted with stylish furniture and have built-in wardrobes, mirrors and bedside cabinets, ensuring you have all your essential home comforts.

Out and About

Quantock Hills
This diverse and historical landscape will satisfy all levels of leisure walkers at any time of the year. This idyllic location has a wide variety of wildlife including wild red deer and the native Quantock ponies. The hills offer popular cycling routes, most notably the "Greenway Route". We have designed a spot the animal game for the kids to take with you whilst you enjoy the beautiful senery.

West Somerset Railway
Crowcombe Heathfield station is just a short walk away from our park, where you can sit back and relax on Britain’s most famous heritage railway. Take a journey of discovery through 22 miles of stunning scenery from Bishop Lydeard to the costal town of Minehead.

Beaches
We have several beautiful beaches in the vicinity of our park, Dunster is the nearest.

Exmoor National Park
Exmoor is an attraction not to be overlooked with its stunning landscapes, wilderness and tranquillity.

South West Coastal Path
This path stretches from Minehead to the shores of Poole Harbour in Dorset; it is the best way to enjoy the wonderful coastal scenery and local wildlife and of course, a pub lunch!

Fishing
There are plenty of opportunities for fishing enthusiasts in our surrounding area, ranging from carp to sea fishing with boats regularly running from the coastal towns of Watchet and Minehead.

Golf
Golf courses of both 9 to 18 holes are available within close proximity of our park.

Horse Riding
For anyone who would like to discover Exmoor on horse back, there are many riding schools within the local area suitable for all abilities.

Other places of interest

The mysterious Somerset levels, Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Minehead and the market town of Taunton.

Wookey Hole, Dunster castle, Hestercombe Gardens, Cothay Manor, Wellington Monument and Tropiquaria Adventure park.
