Located directly on the beautiful Luce Bay, Sands of Luce Holiday Park is a multi award winning family run park offering the perfect location for an amazing break that will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Our regular visitors know how idyllic our landscape of rolling Scottish hills, long beaches and sleepy fishing villages are. Why not join us and explore the wonderful scenery and life style of Scotland’s most Southerly coast.

The Park

From entering the park you will immediately become aware of why we are called Sands of Luce! The stunning bay is our biggest asset and something we really enjoy bragging about! The park is family run priding itself on providing the ultimate family retreat as well as catering for young and old.

Our efforts in keeping a first class park mean we are proud to have been awarded an AA 4 star award as well as an award of Excellence from Visit Scotland meaning we can display the highly regarded Thistle emblem.

The park also boasts its own pub; The Lighthouse Bar where residents go to discuss the days catch or play a game of pool while sampling the local whiskeys. Alternatively why not enjoy one of Josies breakfasts or freshly baked cakes and sandwiches in our cafe/ tea room. For our younger guests we have a play area and two games rooms. Parking is available alongside all units. Boats can be launched from the beach and stored in our new secured boat yard at no extra charge.

We have many options available and are highly experienced in working with our residents in putting together your dream retreat. With finance schemes available we hope we can help you create a new life style for you and your family.

In addition we can arrange patio construction, landscaping and even boxing-in the underneath of the van.

The caravan is available for your use for up to 48 weeks each year.

Rentals

With luxury, comfort, space and privacy our rental caravans are the perfect solution for a relaxed family holiday. Rent one of our ten luxury caravans and we will give you the choice of two or three bedroom units sleeping up to six people. Our caravans are all less than two seasons old and have plenty of space for you to enjoy.

All caravans are fully equipped to a high standard including LCD High Definition digital TV's with DVD player, oven, fridge freezer, micro-wave, toaster, kettle and all the utensils you would need for a self catered stay. All caravans are double-glazed and have central heating so no need to worry about the cooler months. The rental caravans are all sited together in a sheltered part of the site, only a minute's stroll to the golden sand and close to all facilities’.

Touring and Camping

We have a number of touring sites available for use but to avoid disappointment please pre-book during peak periods. Due to the popularity of our limited camping pitches booking is essential, they book up fast!

All touring and camping facilities are serviced through a number of nearby toilet blocks with free hot water showers. We would like to assure you that all our facilities are cleaned daily and are locked throughout the day to ensure maximum cleanliness for all our guests (fees include a toilet block key).

The toilet blocks also contain disabled washrooms, laundrettes, areas for dish washing and chemical waste disposal units. All touring sites are supplied with mains electricity.

Area and Activities

The park is situated within the beauty and splendour of the Galloway coast making it the ideal base from which to explore Galloway and its tranquil surroundings. The rolling hills, steep sea cliffs, wide beaches and colourful country parks present a natural landscape as ideal for a multitude of activities as it is beautiful and relaxing.
