What was great?
Peaceful with lovely views. The site has an adventure trail which young children love. There is an activity centre called Howstean Gorge for the more adventurous who like caving and climbing. There are 2 pubs close by which do lovely grub and you can take your dogs in. There is a little shop on site and a post office in the village of Lofthouse

Even better if....
You need mosquito cream at certain times and the pesky things can become irritating if your not prepared. No TV signal so you do need a freesat if you need to keep up with the soaps
