Welcome to Tattershall Lakes Country Park

Tattershall Lakes is one of the best holiday parks in Lincolnshire. Packed full of exciting activities for all the family to enjoy, plus it is the perfect location if you want to explore the area and its fantastic attractions.

The park is dominated by Lakes that are set aside for waterskiing, jetskiing, angling and wakeboarding as well as a full 18 hole golf course. With our swimming pool, spa, gym, bars and family diner there is something for everyone.

Located about 30 miles inland from Skegness and Mablethorpe, the park is right next door to Tattershall Castle and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight in Coningsby.

Touring & Camping

There are three lovely locations for touring & camping, “The Squadrons” situated right in the heart of the park, “Woodland Retreat” is set in a secluded meadow surrounded by trees and our new wild camping is on “Lysander Island”. All a short walk to the amenities and lakes. The pitches are all generous in size with most being on flat, well drained ground.

Please do give us a call on 01526 348800 if you wish to discuss your specific needs, as we know some of the larger tents, caravans and motorhomes can be really really big! You can arrive as early as 11:00am on the day and depart no later than 10:00am. Remember! The use of all our other Park facilities are included in your pitch price although the availability of some facilities may vary according to the time of year.

Long Stay Pitch
Select your ideal pitch and stay all season long with us. Come and go as you please, enjoying the park facilities every time you visit. No need to set up and unpack – just turn up when you want and start your holiday straight away. No need to book in advance, plus you can save a packet depending on how long you stay.

Bell Tent
Bell tents were originally used by the British Army when camps were set up as staging areas for troops were traveling to Europe during World War 1. At wars end some of these camps were purchased by entrepreneurs and called Holiday Camps.

Activities your children will love
Children, Mums, Dads come along and join in with a playful programme of daytime activities organised every day. Designed for 5 to 12 year olds.

Our Play sessions offer brilliant and memorable experiences that your children will never forget. These take place every day and have been created to provide a variety of fun and engaging experiences. There will be plenty of chances to get hands covered in paint, chocolate, sand, water and so much more! Don’t panic though as we always provide rather fetching aprons.

There is a small charge for Play sessions so we can ensure the experience your child has is the best possible. Each day we have a free session. Session passes are available for sale at Leisure Services everyday. Once you arrive on your holiday please make your bookings as the sessions can be very popular and occasionally sell out. Thank you.

Swimming & Gymnasium

A modern indoor pool with spectacular views over the waterski lake has a large sun deck with sun loungers and a hot tub. So when the sun is out just grab your towel and cozzie and then kick back and soak up some rays. Perfect for relaxing on the warm summer days.

Learn to swim
There are various swim sessions each day that include lane swimming, parent and toddler, general fun, pool kayaking, water confidence (brilliant for non-swimmers to improve their confidence) etc. At busier times we operate session swimming so everyone can get a chance to enjoy the pool.

Your saftey is our priority
The pool is manned by qualified lifeguards to keep you safe while you enjoy yourself and there is also a sauna and a steam room on pool side for you to enjoy.

Gymnasium
Want to keep the weight off while you are on holiday? Why not book a few sessions in the gym so you can rid yourself of the little beer belly that might form? It’s a compact gym with running machine, exercise bike, cross trainer, multi-gym and dumbell rack. It has TV screens to watch and is fully air-conditioned.

Why not book yourself a relaxing massage after a strenuous work out?

Bike Hire

Bike hire is available from the pedalo hire between the hours of 10am – 5pm Saturday and Sunday (every day in the summer holidays). Outside of these times you can arrange bike hire via Leisure Reception at the swimming pool. We have Mountain bikes of various sizes for adult and junior and Hybrid bikes for adults.

We have 3 well stocked fishing lakes that can cater any level of angler and with plenty of friendly anglers on hand to offer advice you can be sure of an excellent experience. We also have a stocking programme underway and have recently introduced 2000 juvenile Carp into our nursery lakes

Food and Drink

All accommodation is fully equipped with everything you need to rustle something up for the whole family. Guests enjoy the freedom that self-catering brings and many love the value for money of ‘cooking like at home’ whilst on holiday. We have nearby popular supermarkets and a well-equipped convenience stores selling fresh products daily.

The Boathouse Bar & Diner
Eating out on park, you have The Boathouse Diner which is always on hand to serve up a winning combination. In the mornings, take your pick from our mini breakfast or go with the Full English, it’s your choice.

For lunch or dinner there is plenty of choices, starters include: the Family Platter with Hot Wings, Onion Rings, Griddled Cobs, Garlic Bread and Herby Dip. Main course favourites include: the Tower Burger, Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas, Rack of Smokehouse Ribs. Classic dishes include: Beer & Beef Pie or how about a slow roasted Shank of Lamb with Seasonal Vegetables. To finish: you can enjoy a selection of yummy desserts.

The Boathouse plays host to our entertainment and has patio doors that open up on to the patio overlooking the waterski lake. You can sit back and watch the entertainment, or alternatively sit outside and watch the sunset.

The Propellor Bar
Taking its name from the boats that use the lake and from our neighbours the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, this relaxing bar has sublime views right across the lake. With balcony doors that open fully this first floor venue is absolutely magical as the sun sets.

Golf

18 hole golf course
Our 18 hole golf course at the park is perfect for beginners and so called experts alike, with it only being a par 66 it is short enough in length for everyone to stand a chance of hitting those greens but it also has a few hazards dotted around the course to keep the more seasoned golfer happy. With plenty of Par 3’s and some short par 4’s you will find it is not too far of a walk but if you like your par 5’s don’t worry we have two par 5’s on the front 9 for you to attack at will.

With 2 lakes to play round and over and a couple of brooks running through the course it will give you that interesting decision as to whether to lay up or go for that green!! Plus a truly massive bunker to carry just infront of the 6th green which needs to be seen to be believed.

Jetskiing

We have a dedicated Jetski lake which is about 45 acres and filled with clean and clear water. It is open from 9am until 7pm every day of the week and has a nice smooth jetty for you to launch your jetskis from. Don’t worry if you are a little unsure with your launching there is always a member of staff on hand to help out.

Directly on the lake and open everyday is our Jetski centre, here you will find toilets and changing facilities, refreshments and our shop which is stocked with clothing, inflatables and equipment for sale. Any information you may need about the lake our staff are always here to lend a hand.

Join us under the stars, bring along your blanket, snuggle under the stars with popcorn and a hot chocolate, wait for a marshmallow to toast and sit back and enjoy the film.

New to Tattershall Lakes Outdoor Cinema this year is our GIANT deck chairs! They are so big that you can fit up to 3 members of the family on them! So make sure you get to the showing early so you don’t miss the chance to kick back on a deck chair suitable for Big Foot!
an excellent circuit for towing inflatables, waterskiing and kneeboarding.

Pedalos & Boats

Adjacent to the swimming pool is the pedalo and electric boat lake, where big kids and little kids can have a loads of fun. From here you can take out a pedalo or an electric motorboat on our pedallo lake.

The pedalos are great fun and can seat up to 3 people whereas the electric boats only seat two, however they have a brilliant water canon so you can squirt other people! This is perfectly suited for Dad’s that still make machine gun noises and believe their kids think they are still cool.

Wakeboard Park

Make a splash
A brand new Wake Park opened in July 2012, Just Wake is a progressive wake park designed for all levels of Wakeboarders. Based out of the Castle Lake, with the amazing backdrop of Tattershall Castle.

The Wake Park is split into two separate systems, using the most advanced Straight Line Cable systems available (the System 2.0). We have some of the most unique obstacles in the UK, including the
RED BULL Quarter Pipe (the only one in the UK) & the
RED BULL Pipe Rail ( Both used at Wakestock & Harbour Reach),
A 96ft Double Ended Fun Box,

We also have some of the basics including 2 x Kickers, Incline Rail , Box Rail and for the complete beginner a lovely Manual Pad.

Waterskiing

85 Acre lake just for boat owners
We have a large 85 acre lake set aside for Boat Owners, this is ideal for holiday makers who like to take their own boats away with them. The lake is divided into 2 lanes, Lane One has a competition style slalom course and 2 jumps, and Lane Two an area divided up for recreational skiing. There can be up to 3 boats on the lake at anyone time, We offer the facility of Week day Launches (Monday – Friday) with a jetty for mooring your boat whilst on holiday

Off the Park

f you want to get up, out and about, you couldn’t have picked a better county to explore. Lincolnshire has a wealth of diverse attractions to tickle the fancy of a wide range of visitors, whether young or old.

If climbing, canoeing, quad-biking, cycling, paint-balling and theme parks sound too energetic, you can soak up some history at a slower pace.

Firstly, Lincoln Castle, built in the 11th century: walk the castle walls, visit the Victorian prison…and nearby is Lincoln Cathedral, where you can visit the “Young Victoria” exhibition or play the game of looking for the naughty Lincoln Imp, within the beautiful carved walls of the Angel Choir.

The National Trust property Tattershall Castle offers the chance to visit a dramatic 15th century tower with a moat, while the romantic Belvoir Castle is set in rolling countryside and home to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland. A pub lunch in one of the villages nearby makes for a perfect please-everybody excursion.

For more incredible architecture, 17th century Belton House in Grantham and the Elizabethan mansion of Burghley House at Stamford are both must-sees.

From stone castles to sand castles – during the summer, why not travel to one of our famous seaside resorts? There’s the classic candyfloss and amusements of Skegness or Cleethorpes, or quieter picnicking spots like Sutton-on-Sea.

South of ‘Skeggy’ is Gibraltar Point, a renowned nature reserve, teeming with birdlife. In a northerly direction from North Somercotes there is Donna Nook nature reserve, a breeding ground for seals which is open to the public.

What was great?
free use of sauna and steam room for 16yrs plus

Even better if....
what lets this sites pool down is its size. it only allows approximately 30 people in at a time for a hour session. which is not much considering the site must easily have the facility's to accommodate a few thousand guest at a time. the booking for the pool are taken on a daily basis from 8am for that day only. I stayed for a whole week and was only able to book in twice during my stay, if you hadn't rang to book by 9am you wasn't getting in the pool that day and they wouldn't let you pre book for the following day either and despite being surrounded by lakes your not allowed to swim in those either. This is not a camp site for family's who's kids enjoy swimming.
