Welcome to The Valley

This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept five caravans or motorhomes and ten tents.

The Valley is a beautiful, family run caravan and campsite, in Pembrokeshire, not far from Saundersfoot and Tenby.

We took over the Valley in the Spring this year. It is a beautiful site with around 10 acres of fields and woodland. The campsite is a Camping and Caravan Club CS site and can take up to 5 caravans or campervans and 10 tents or trailer tents.

We have two bell tents which can be pre-erected for those of you who dont want the hassle of pitching the tent or who dont have space to carry large amounts of camping equipment. These are available in basic form with just a futon bed and some fairylights, or fully glamped with rugs, lamps, kitchen equipment, blankets, fairy lights, bunting etc, etc.

There is also a fully equipped static caravan for those of you who cant live without lifes luxuries. This has two bedrooms and a pull-out bed in the living room and can sleep up to 6 people.

Pitches are on grass with some shady areas with plenty of space. There are currently four electric hook-ups in the camping field. We do not currently have showers.

There are walks in place around the site with picnic areas close to the camping area and also near the pond - watch out for heron!

There are open water ponds on site and animals (we currently have 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 4 guinea pigs), for this reason we ask that children under 16 are always supervised by an adult around the site. Dogs are welcome, but must be well behaved, kept on a lead and cleaned up after.

It's a magical place, all friends old and new very welcome!

Nearby Attractions

There is a public footpath adjoining the site which takes you through beautiful woodlands to Amroth Beach (the walk takes about 50 minutes and goes past the National Trust Colby Woodland Gardens) and from Amroth walkers can pick up the Pembrokeshire Coast path.

The site is 5 minutes from the village of Kilgetty which has a number of shops including a Co-op supermarket, takeaways, laundrette and pharmacy. Many of Pembrokeshire's tourist attractions such as Folly Farm, Oakwood theme park and the Blue Lagoon are just a short drive away.

Directions

We are just a few miles from Saundersfoot and Tenby.

We are easy to find and easy to access for those of you with caravans and trailers.

We are on the A477 just between Llanteg and Kilgetty.

If you are coming from Swansea. Cardiff or the M4 continue on the A48 at the end of the M4 tow Carmarthen, then take the A40 to St Clears, At St Clears take the A477 towards Pembroke Dock, once you have been through Llanteg you will see signs for Battlefield Live, we are just yards past there.

They do take away too. Allow min 20 minutes for prep - a bit more in busy times. Nice place to have a drink while you're waiting. Good food (in or take away!)
