What was great?
We stayed in two bell tents practically on the shore at Troytown. The welcome was warm and laid back, the scenery was incredible, the bell tents were well equipped. We had a campfire on the beach and cooked dinner one night - the campsite owner was very helpful in finding us some wood to get us started. The island is beautiful - remote, laid back, relaxed and very quiet. Tonnes of wildlife - the bird life especially. Great dinner at the Turk's Head pub - the only pub on the island, so book ahead. A reset-your-batteries break. The campsite shop sells home-made ice-cream with milk from the farm's own dairy herd and bacon/fresh eggs and milk. The local post office - pretty as a picture in itself - sells everything else you'll need.

Even better if....
There was a bit of a problem with drainage from the shower block leading to some rather pongy smells - but I am sure that this will soon be rectified!
