What was great?
Well when people talk about location, location, location this is it. You look over open fields down to the sea and what a cracking view it is. With Conwy to the right and Anglesey to the left. Due to it being adults only this is a very quiet site. As you pull onto the site you are welcomed by the staff who are helpful in every way. Even sitting the mobile villa against the small hedge so you can look out to see. Behind you are the Snowdonia mountains and what a view. The toilets and showers are kept very clean and tidy as well as the site.

Even better if....
The site has the A55 at the bottom of the road but this does not distract from how great the site is.

This site is on a hill and is layered so could be difficult for certain disabled groups. Although there are a number of pitches near to the toilet block that are on the same level ( still has the same fantastic view). Straight through the main door to the toilets is the disabled toilets. Speak with staff and they will do their utmost to help in any way. Nothing seems too much for them.

We don't have a dog but a lot of the other campers do and they are welcomed on site on a lead. There is also a small area for walking dogs at the bottom of the site. Cracking walks on the beach and promenade n

Plenty of choice on the menu and when it arrived did not know wether to climb it or eat it. Large portions. Good atmosphere too.

Drink prices are a little steep. One pint larger and a pint of diet cola. £7.00.

What was great?
When you first go in its like being in Austria/ Germany again with all the authentic items and furnishings. The beer is a great choice with Austrian, German makes. :-) The choice from the menu is good too but don't expect pomme Frits (chips) which is good because the cabbage, and veg is fantastic. The couple that run this are great and do this for the fun of it and the enjoyment that they give the customer. Only open Wed to Sun in the winter months.

What was great?
The site is in the Snowdonia National and what a setting its in. The diving centre is just behind the slate museum and once your kit is off loaded then you get a permit for the car park. The site is under new management and a lot of work has been done in such a short time with building new benches, cutting back trees. The site costs £10 for a ten year membership and £6 entry fee. Not bad in my view.

The scenery around the the lake walks is breathtaking, from the lake you can also see the mountains, woods and the light railway that's goes around one side. Lots of places to eat and drink. Most car parks are £4 for the full day but watch out as a couple charge more

Even better if....
Snowdonia railway charges £21 per person. When we were there they could only go half way up and you were not allowed to get out. It should be cheaper but was not. A number of other people could be heard saying this too.
