What was great?
We visit this site every year as a large group of mums and kids. The hosts are very welcoming and give us the freedom to build a camp as a large group in the end field. This has the most amazing views over Ullswater. Beautiful every year and we will go back again and again.

Even better if....
The spider webs in the toilet blocks were dusted. Probably just me but they do scare me!

What was great?
There is lots os space for large groups. We were a group of 5 big tents and a kitchen. It was great to be able to set up in a big circle. Great views even through the wind and rain.

Even better if....
You avoid the end field. The wind powers through here and unless you have a tough tent you might be going home early!
